Event description

Pet owner or not, come and enjoy some productive networking in a relaxed atmosphere with other Bizniks. Whether you're looking to make new business connections, reconnect with old ones, or bounce some new business ideas off other entrepreneurs, you'll enjoy the company and find it useful. For those of you who are pet owners, there will be several Biznik pet care service providers on hand to answer any questions that you might have about their services.

At this event, we would also like to remind everyone that there are many animals out there who need our help. While there will be no official entrance fee, there will be a recommended donation of $5 which will enter you in a raffle for some great prizes donated by local businesses. All proceeds will be donated to the Progressive Animal Welfare Society (PAWS). PAWS is a local agency that helps both domestic and wild animals. PAWS advocates for animals through education, legislation, and direct care.

This event is BYO, so grab a bottle of wine, a 6-pack of beer, or a bottle of soda and come mingle with some great people at The Barking Lounge. This event will be located in The Barking Lounge’s Annex building, which is located just across the street from the main building in S. Lake Union. The Annex is located at 433 8th Ave N. on the corner of 8th Ave N and Republican St….please feel free to use the parking lot located directly in front of The Annex (driving directions can be found at www.barkinglounge.com). The Barking Lounge provides doggie daycare and overnight boarding services to canine guests of all shapes and sizes. The Barking Lounge also provides basic grooming services (dog baths, nail trims, brush-outs, ear cleaning, teeth brushing, etc.), offers obedience training & agility classes, and sells unique dog supplies. For more information, please visit their website listed above, and be sure to check out their webcams!

Please note that due to space limitations this will be a no-pet event…humans only please. This will be an event you cannot miss…see you there!

No Entrance Fee, recommended donation of $5 to benefit PAWS & to be entered into raffle.

Do you ever have events where dogs can attend? That would be fun!

    Hello Delanae,

Yes I do. Last month I had an event at Norms in Fremont where dogs are more than welcome. I will host another event in the future were dogs will be welcome.

I hope you can make this event. It will be lots of fun and all the money we raise from the raffle goes to PAWS. So far I have a portrait from local artist, tutta bella gift cert, massage, wine and I am working on more raffle prizes. Spread the word we need lot to attend.

Hi Robert this sounds like fun. I have a cat and am wondering if the pet folks who will be attending would be able to answer nail trimming questions?

I plan to be there if my earlier event doesn't interfere!

Hi Karen Floyd, In answer to your question about cat nails, we only care for dogs here at The Barking Lounge, but I am familiar with cat nail trims as well and am happy to share with you what I know. I am also confident that there will be several cat people attending who may be able to provide you with some great tips and techniques. Hope this helps!
