Yay! Not only are Lori's events always interesting, and fun, but I've also been wanting to see this machine. I'd love to offer up my services for proofing, editing, ghost-writing, and layout to authors...one of my favorite things I do!

I've got two books out (one, Bellingham Impressions, was a Village Books bestseller in 2009) and three more in the early stages. I'm not really looking at self-publishing, but the book business is changing rapidly and this is one option to keep in mind.

good news and not so: good: I've been offered a 2 week writing retreat in Santa Fe to finish my book...Yay! not so good: i have to cancel this event. I will however, try to find a way for my hubby, Jim Macartney, to attend.

Is there anyone driving up from Skagit Valley? He woudl need a ride from LaConner. (has epilepsy, and temporarily cannot drive) message him via biznik or call 360-708-4491. Thank You!

oh , and by the way, husband Jim has finished a non-fiction book, and is looking at options...but one way to best use the machine is for workbooks...more professional look and could be a better price than at the copier, depending on how many pages in each workbook.

I'm really excited about this prospect - it sounds like a cool machine! Can't wait to find out more. I might also be able to offer graphic design services, so I'd like to know more about how that might work as well. Just to forewarn, my RSVP is actually a maybe, although I'm going to try hard to be there. I have a new baby who's had the sniffles for a couple of days, so it's up to him and how he's doing by then!

I'm excited to meet so many interesting people at one event. And seeing the Espresso Book Machine in action will be a treat. I think it makes Bellingham an even more progressive city for writers and designers. What a great option for beginning authors.

I have been looking forward to this! When I met with Chuck and Lindsey we discussed the opportunities to meet new Authors and Entrepreneurs alike. Once they saw samples of my work they thought not only could I do book design but marketing of the books as well. Exciting Possibilities for us all!

Wow Lori! This event just came out of nowhere for me. As a writer of three and a half manuscripts, this should be interesting and informative. I'm all ears! I'll be there.

Great event!! I've always thought how wonderful it would be to be able to reach a greater audience and share my passion about fitness and living a healthy lifestyle. Since the event I've been excited about the possiblities before me and my community. My husband was also encouraged and inspired to write the story he feels he was meant to write!
