Great Harvest Bread Co. Tour

Family-owned Great Harvest Bread Co. http://bellinghambread.com/index.htm has been part of the Bellingham community since 1979 and on July 12 they will open their doors to Bellingham Explorer's guests for a 01 hour tour. http://www.BellinghamExplorer.com

We will talk about each of the ingredients used in bread making (flour, yeast, honey, water and salt) and what it's used for the preparation and mixing process (big bowls, big mixing paddles, big scale and big mixer). We will see the kneaders in action at the big table.

Tour guidelines:

• Please park along the street as store parking lot is very small
• Arrive on time. It is difficult to accommodate late comers due to Great Harvest Bread Co. tight morning schedule. Nuts, oils, dairy and other allergens are present in the bakery, please keep this in mind, should you suffer of any food allergies.
• Pictures are allowed to be taken ONLY in the front area

The tour is free, though we encourage your purchases (after smelling fresh bread we might not be able to help it).

After the tour we'll be going to The Bagelry http://www.bagelrybellingham.com/ for brunch and light conversation while making new connections.
