Event description

OPTIONAL EARLY ARRIVAL:
Come at 9:30am to get an early start on our specific topic of the day (see comment below). We'll do this until 10am and then start promptly at 10am with the mastermind part.

Inspired by our own Lisa Bradley's Mastermind Mondays, the common commitment we share as offering green-focused solutions to the business world, and the desire to THRIVE, this green mastermind group meets every other Monday!

What We Do

  • Celebrate successes and address 1 major challenge
  • Set and meet 1 measurable goal within a 2-week period
  • Offer support and hold accountability for each other

There is an amazing amount of power, knowledge, and connections that toss back and forth amongst us in these groups. The success and growth of our attendees is proof in the pudding!

What to Bring to the Conference Table

  • Your 1 minute elevator speech. If you don't have one, check out Linda Watson's brand strategy solutions! However, don't let not having one stop you from joining us!
  • Your successes
  • Your biggest challenge in the next two weeks
  • Your long-term goals: What do you want to do with and where do you want to take your business?
  • Green role models: What businesses have had great successes with their green solution and what was their approach?

Join us to THRIVE in green business, whilst also making a difference to our community and the world beyond. We are getting down to some seriously fun business here!

*NOTE: Mosaic offers this room free of charge. The going rate for room rentals like this are $30-50/hour. Please consider putting even a wee bit in the donation box at the coffeehouse counter!

    For this upcoming gathering...

Amy and I would like to turn to you all and ask you to shout out any ideas for our 9:30 gathering, if you wish to arrive early.

For those that are new, we have a focused 30 minute fast-pace session on some topic that relates to developing a financially rewarding and sustainable business. Topics in the past include visioning and time management that results in $$$.

Without much thought, throw your ideas at us - but not too hard! ;) Perhaps we can have one of you showcase your talents in the future! Ideas on the table as of now:

    1) Effects of color in business (clothes we wear, office colors, promo item colors) 2) Some amazing book discussion 3) Walk and talk outside - open ended conversations. 4) Develop and perfect our 30 second elevator speech

We are looking forward to seeing you all again and meeting those wonderful new Bizniks who took the chance to visit this group!

    okay!

So, let's go with #1 unless any other great ideas come in b4 then.

If you plan to come @ 9:30, please bring your own knowledge about color and it's affect on the bottom line! It really is an amazing subject...invite anyone you know is an expert on this topic as well.

We can then discuss which books are worth discussing at the next one...

Also, if you have any suggestions for improving your experience at these bi-monthly meetings, please share here or directly with either one of us.

FYI: We've modified the main hand-out sheet so it is more useful. I'll also be bringing a new worksheet for declaring our visions and financial goals (something needed to be completed before we get into two week goals!)

What a great turn out this was!

It was great to see both familiar and new faces. Be sure to catch up with your accountability partner regardless if you'll be hitting our next gathering.

The color discussion @ 9:30 was very interesting. Corbet was especially helpful...I look forward to seeing everyone create their "halo effect" :)

    Until next time,

Thanks for letting us know about not being able to attend. It's always best, if you can, to un-RSVP from the event so you don't end up looking like a no-show. Too many no shows don't look good on your reliability record.

Sometimes we are not able to un-RSVP due to circumstances. I missed mentioning at the meeting that Carol contacted me late last night by phone to say that she would not be attending as she was up late in consolence with friends who were present during the West Seattle shooting last night.

The guy who was shot and died was amongst her friends and her other friend was grazed with the stray bullet. Carol herself was supposed to be there with them at the bar last night, but events kept her elsewhere.

Please put Carol and her friends in your thoughts and prayers. It's a huge shake up anytime one finds themselves in a near miss of such an experience and such a tragedy when a life is passed on before we feel it's time.

    Bright blessings and gratitude, Amy
