Tanya, I love that you are doing a regular Greenlake Walk and Talk. Hope to catch one of them sometime!

    Hi Tanya,

I'd love to make this, and it will depend if I can get there fast enough from my noon appointment. Which direction are you walking in case I have to catch up with you?

Good planning, Miriam! We'll walk towards the crew house (bleachers with big huge "GL" on them).

This is awesome! I can't come tomorrow but I will definitely make a future w-n-t. I have done this informally for years with business mentors and colleagues. My brother's a neurologist and he says there's something about walking that increases activity in the synapses of your brain.

BTW, I recommend highly scheduling one of these for EARLY mornings. And not just to suit my schedule. There's nothing like kick-starting your mind and body with a 6am greenlake walk-and-talk.

Thanks for setting this up Tanya!

Love the idea Tom! Go for it! It's so easy to organize one of these things, literally it takes four minutes. And you're right about walking and brain health--walking raises our seratonin and dopamine levels so we feel good and burn some calories--how great is that?

Unfortunately early mornings don't work for me, but I'm sure they would be ideal for a ton of Biznik'ers out there!

    Hi Tom,

Starting in May I'm going to be living right on Greenlake for a month and a half. I think I'll be totally up for an early morning walk around the lake. Keep me posted if you decide to do one.

Hello all, I'm fairly new to Biznik and have a couple Tacoma and Olympia upcoming events on my calendar, but it's so beautiful today I think it's worth the drive up to Seattle to join you ladies at Greenlake. I'm looking forward to meeting you all!

Glad to see you guys had a fun walk and talk. I am thrilled that Tanya is making the Greenlake WnT a regular thing. Whoo hoo!

I hope everyone feels free to host other walk and talks around the city and around Greenlake. Different days and times are great to offer. With over 10,000 bizniks in Seattle, the more the merrier. I'd love to see a WnT posted everyday of the week!

    See you on the path...
