Event description

Create or recreate effective marketing ideas on a shoestring budget. Bring your favorite marketing idea, to discuss.

If you have read Jeff Slutsky's marketing books, you know about Guerrilla Marketing. Guerrilla Marketing is inexpensive effective marketing. One of my favorite examples is about a mom and pop hair salon competing with a large chain hair salon. The mom and pop salon charge $25 per haircut and the chain charges $7. When the chain moved to town, they erected a large sign advertising $7 hair cuts. The mom and pop salon put a large sign up that read: WE FIX $7 HAIRCUTS! Brilliant!

Bring your favorite marketing ideas and let’s get those creative juices flowing over cocktails. Make mine a Mojito!

I would love to attend. All depends on sleep on Thursday - have a pizza restaurant plus a graveyard shift job. And I haven't read the book, but have done my share of Guerrilla Marketing.
