Hands-On by Popular Demand! Learn by doing.

Creating competitive flyers online is a free, effective means to market your business, services, or items online using an internet browser from anywhere. This workshop will take place in a computer lab, where you will learn step-by-step to create ads and flyers on your own, that you can save, print, and publish on the Web.

Where: http://www.highline.edu/home/maps/maincampus_map.pdf Highline Community College 23835 Pacific Highway South, Building 99 (Room 251) Des Moines, Washington 98198

Visitor parking is available in the East Parking Lot (see map link above) adjacent to the workshop location in Building 99 (Room 251).

In this workshop you'll work closely with other Bizniks and get to know your nieghbor while sharing about your business.

No equipment is necessary as this state-of-the art computer lab will serve as an instructional environment where you can point, click, drag, and drop along with the instructor to get started with do-it-yourself free online ad and flyer creation. If you wish to use your own computer, connectivity is available.

OPTIONAL: You may wish to bring images (your logo, profile pic, etc.) on a flash drive, or put them in a private or public Picasa or Flickr album for easy access. We will demonstrate this process as well, so no materials are required whatsoever.

The primary focus will be on using free marketing tools on the web like Craigslist, for example. You'll also get a preview of free online website building and management.

Great! I'm grateful you're hosting another event and that there are computers available to use since the GoGoPin isn't compatible with my Mac operating system. I've been wanting to try this out! Thanks Adam. Is there anyone interested in carpooling to Highline - from Queen Anne, Fremont, Ballard area?

Looking forward to it - and I welcome any questions.

Here is the best compliment about the evening: I've been creating flyers for the past 2 hours and posting them around the internet! Search "gogopin" in Craigslist under "All Services Offered". Feel free to call my office and mention the flyer and ask some questions about the tours. lol

Thanks Adam and Ben for your creative minds and supportive spirit. Don't forget us Biznik folks when you're rich and famous!
