Happy Hour Networking Mixer

Let's get together at the Hearthfire Grill and keep the fire from last week's event glowing! This great venue overlooks the bay, has generous specials on drinks and appetizers, and includes free parking. We will have a relaxed and casual atmosphere for talking more about what we learned at Dan and Lara's workshop, and for getting to know each other better on a personal level.

For those of you who were not able to come to last Wednesday's workshop, we'll do our best to fill you in on the highlights of this fantastic networking tool we have at our fingertips! The same goes for anyone who might be thinking it's time to join Biznik - here's an easy way to meet like-minded folks in friendly conversation.   It's a great plan to keep the excitment rolling. Dan and Lara's explaination about Biznik.com was very informative. There is a need for them to return to Bellingham. I myself can go through another 3 hour review and I am sure there is even more information and techniques that we can learn. Anyone else want Lara and Dan to come back for another event?

  Tom, I agree that Dan and Lara squeezed a ton of information into those 3 hours, and clearly had more to offer. Perhaps we can persuade them to come back for a follow-up soon.

  And to answer Eric's question - 6 o'clock is the ending of happy hour specials in the lounge, but there is nothing to keep us from continuing our conversations past that hour. Come on down whenever you are free.

  It was a great evening and really made me appreciate the Biznik way of networking even more. Instead of everyone just regurgitating what they do and handing out business cards, we got to take some time and get to know people. In fact I can't wait until the next event. Big thank you to Meredith and Jane for putting this together so quickly. You can listen to what Dan and Lara say about the connection "thing" but to have it actaully happen really affirms what they are creating. thank you

  Bliss, exactly so. Hearing about it is great, but being present in the midst of the swirling connectivity is...energizing, soothing, inspiring and joyful - all at the same time. I left looking forward to the next one, as well. It was an evening of rich and expansive sharing between positive people - we can't beat that, but we can generously repeat it!
