I am planning to meet tomorrow, but I just checked the weather forecast and it does indicate a Winter Storm Warning in effect beginning at 6 am.

We just may need to postpone the event. I will email everyone and post here in about an hour or so, after I've checked the weather again.

OK Everyone,

We need to cancel this event and reschedule. There is a Winter Storm Warning in effect from 6 am Wednesday to 10 am Thursday. Snow is predicted Wednesday morning followed by a mix of snow and freezing rain in the afternoon.

I guess that qualifies as a reason to cancel! Stay tuned for a new date.

I thought about that, but am thinking that those who signed up did so because they time worked for them.

So, I've decided to keep the time the same, but I have a back-up plan (which would have been good to have in place to begin with!):

In the event of inclement weather, I will host the event on a teleconference line. It will be a Virtual Coffee Session! That way, everyone can attend and participate from wherever they are.

If we invoke the PLAN B, everyone should be in a place with internet access so that they can access the web page I will put up for that purpose.
