How to Facilitate WOW! Events that Keep People Coming Back for More
Hosted by Leif Hansen in Seattle, Washington
Type: Educational Workshop
When: Friday, November 20 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM

Event description
Getting and keeping attention is tough in our 'attention economy'. Making a lasting impression even tougher. Building & keeping trust the tougher-est. What are the secrets of offering group experiences that do all three?
Learn to WOW! your participants and you'll dramatically increase the likelihood of their coming back for more...and bringing their friends.
This event is for anyone hosting Biznik events, or who facilitates other group experiences, who wants to increase the level of engagement, interactivity & community within their events -both live & online.
Imagine what would happen if you were able to:
- Gain and hold your participants' attention & trust through sharing your authentic self, core passion & sincere care
- Fully engage your participants by using activities that supplemented and deepened the material you were presenting
- Help participants feel safe enough to connect to others, stretch their minds & incorporate new ideas
- Catalyze a community, or tribe, of 'raving fans' who stayed connected to your business & to each other after events
There's no doubt about your commitment and dedication, yet the reality is that you need full events and that you need to keep your participants coming back (with their friends!) Right? The solution is simple: You need to WOW! your group & create an engaged community.
In this dynamic two hour workshop led by nationally-recognized ‘expert in engagement’ Leif Hansen, you’ll learn how to engage and interact with participants, so that it's a "no-brainer" for them to enroll more fully and then return again and again.

Thanks Lorayne for sharing your interest :) I'd say it's quite likely that I'll offer another similar event, and hope you can make it to that one! Warmly, Leif

Hello, This class was recommended to me by a fellow Scallops leader and I would love to attend. Unfortunately I will be unable to and would love to hear of a follow up class if any and/or meeting notes. Thank you.

Leif (& I) ran this amazing workshop for my yoga teachers on YogaBlaze. It was great!
2 weeks later and I'm still hearing from the teachers on how they are being affected by the workshop.
If you can't make this one - go to the next - and the next.
WOW! Soleil*

Leif,
I really wanted to attend your workshop but need to be in Tacoma Friday afternoon. I didn't want to have to cut out early. I hope you offer this again.

Sounds great; it's a shame it was full before I even opened the email! When is the next one scheduled for?

Hello everybody, Thanks for the enthusiastic response and for your interest in additional dates and places.
I think our current space could accommodate up to 50, but I'd rather not crowd it out for this event too much as we'll be doing some moving and playing around. I'm adding 10 more spots as there are close to that many on the waiting list, but I don't think I'll go beyond that (unless I find a bigger, nearby venue).
Looking forward to seeing each of you soon.
In the meantime, so that this event can best be tailored to meet your needs, could you please answer the questions in this survey: 'How to Create Wow! Experiences' (You'll also be entered to win a free iPod Shuffle as well as receive $75 in other discounts).
Thanks! -Leif

Wow, those extra spaces filled up fast. Anyone know of a good venue in the same general area (don't want to make a big switch as people have committed to this location) that could fit 50-75.
Cheers, Leif

Hey, just do another class another time! (Easy for me to say...) I'm on your wait list, but I'm really not positive yet if I can make it into Seattle Friday (I think that will be 4 days in one week...)

Lief, Wow! After being on waiting list and my third attempt - I finally made it through to RSVP! Your event does fill up quickly. I am excited to learn something new and meet you and all other Bizniks there. By the way, if anyone would like to have a copy of the attendee list for notes - please feel free to let me know by Thursday evening. I will print some extra and bring it with me. See you there! Marika

I opened it up to 50 people considering 1. I've always had 10-20% no shows. 2. The venue says it fits 50-60 people (I've been there before, just couldn't remember/feel how big it was). 3. The activities I've chosen should work fine with this size & space.
Glad you can come Marika, and I hope the other 5-10 people on the waiting list realize there is open space.

I've had to pull out as something has come up for me this afternoon. Hopefully that will allow someone else who was on the waiting list to attend!
Leif - sounds like a great topic and I hope you'll let me know if you do it again (especially on the Eastside).
Thanks!
