In this free "How to Make QuickBooks Work For Your Small Business" event we will work on ways to make you more efficient when using QuickBooks. I have been a used QuickBooks professionally for over 7 years and I certainly have found a lot of little tricks that have simplified entering in transactions into QuickBooks.
I will start off by doing an hour long demo of some key areas in QuickBooks and then we will open it up to Question and Answer for the last hour. So bring your questions and your laptops (if you have one) and I will help you to find some solutions.
EHMS Accounting is located on the upper level of the Binyon Vision Center in Suite C. There is parking available on the street on 153rd or in the parking lot on the lower east side of the building (off 4th Ave). There is construction going on all around, so please try and get here early because we try to start promptly at 1:00.

Hi Paul,
I think if you are considering whether or not to purchase QuickBooks, this is a perfect event for you. I do a demo for the first hour or so of just the basics. I think that will give you a good idea of whether this program will suit your needs.
I'm curious if you will be addressing QB for Mac-based businesses? Thanks!
I have had at least one Mac user in every one of my classes and so far we haven't had any major problems with them not being able to follow along. I use the PC version of QB for the demo and I have found a lot of the functionality is the same between Mac and PC (for the things I touch on in the class), but some of the screens do have small variations with regard to the look and feel. If you are bringing a laptop with QB for Mac on it, you can follow along and just ask questions if things look different.
woohoo! I've been trying to get in to this for months now, and slid in to that last open slot! I bought QB a few years back and am overwhelmed by it. Looking forward to meeting you all and getting some great tips.
