How to Start Using Social Media and Branding to Grow Your Business
Hosted by Steve MacDonald in Bellevue, Washington
Type: Educational Workshop
When: Thursday, February 26 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM
730 views
Event description
Come prepared to network and learn. We will dig in deep on how to attract and close more customers through the use of free social media tools combined with a perspective on branding that I guarantee that you have never heard before. We will step through detailed examples of what it takes to get you up and running with a sound social media strategy for your business. These aren't ideas that are nice to have, they are the new marketing fundamentals that every business should be putting to use today. As much as you know social media is a powerful tool, it all starts with the right brand strategy. What you do and say within your social media campaign is more important than the medium itself. Coming from years of branding experience and working with Fortune500 companies, your brand promise is absolutely step one in your new success.
If you have questions about anything from branding to Twitter, then this is the event for you. In today's world, you need all the competitive advantages available to you as a business. This workshop is designed to place the power of social media and the right brand promise into your own hands.

I will send an announcement out right prior to the event asking for folks to cancel if they are not serious about attending. Unfortunately the room that I have for that night is maxed out at a certain amount. the rest of the events will have much more space.
Thanks.

As mentioned by Shannon Evans, is there any chance of getting notes on this subject. I have read a lot about Social Media and Branding, but I am perplexed by the conflicting reports that I see on time vs effectiveness!

David, I also have an event on March 18th that has room in it. Hopefully that is a date that is a good alternative for folks.
Gil, as far as notes, when you come to the event and sign up for the newsletter, you will receive a copy of the presentation itself. That will be a great head start. And then the newsletter is a great way to stay up to speed every month.
Thanks.

Well, would have loved to take a cancelled spot, but we've too much snow in Bellingham to deal with the drive down today. Next time!
And thanks for keeping us all informed, Steve. Awesome job!
