Event description

Could you use more prospects, more cashflow, more strategic partners, or perhaps just new energy and momentum in your business?

We'll look at 15 strategies, methods and reasons for using
-workshops
-seminars
-classes and
-educational events
to make your business more profitable (and fun!)

Whether you are currently offering workshops and seminars or whether you'd just like to explore the possibilities, this class will help you understand why educational events may be an ideal way for you to

  • market your business
  • grow your reputation
  • develop your skills
  • meet new prospects
  • make a bigger difference and
  • make more money!

We'll start with introductions, then we'll outline the many different ways to benefit from using workshops and seminars in your business. After a short break, you'll have a chance to ask questions and gain clarity, explore how to apply the ideas to YOUR business, and finally, share your aha's!

Kate Phillips of Total Wealth Coaching is a certified trainer (and certified coach) who has been developing and leading workshops for five years. Creator of the Living In Abundance course (for women only!) and dozens of other classes and educational events, Kate has taken "Train the Trainer" and speaking courses around the country with some of the personal development industry's "greats," such as T. Harv Eker, Barbara DeAngelis and David Wood. In 2008, Kate started teaching other self-employed business people how to use her techniques in 2008 with her popular Workshops 101 class.

How to Use Workshops, Seminars and Events... is a NEW class (with a very small amount of information from the old Workshops 101). The next "new and expanded" Workshops 101 class will be Nov 17 (four weeks following this) from 1-5pm.

Comments from past Workshops 101 courses:

–Karen Roehl, Professional Organizer and Clutter Coach

    Kate,

Thank you so much for a great workshop on workshops! I really appreciated the insights and ahas that came as you gave us the 15 great reasons to host a workshop. My favorite was "Test Your Topic" -- workshops are a great way to test out what I might like to transform or re-pupose, or just go back to the drawing board with!

    Thanks again! ~Victoria www.serenecoaching.com

    Hi Kate,

Thanks again for a wonderful workshop - you really helped put a framework around disconnected bits and pieces of knowledge I had gleaned already, and then the insights you brought filled in many of the gaps.

You're a wonderful presenter, humorous, authentic and engaging. Looking forward to meeting you again.

    Cheers...

Thanks, Kate, lots of good info. Also, great group of people, and you encouraged sharing of ideas. All the best, Jay P.S. Now we just have to do a workshop, and attend the ones offered by other attendees.
