Event description
Have you ever come across employees or clients who can’t seem to make progress no matter how much great advice and information you give them? Coaching is a great skill set to add to your management skills or consulting practice to help your employees or clients achieve bigger and better goals. This workshop will clarify what coaching is and what it isn’t and when it is appropriate to use.
Participants in this hands-on workshop will get the opportunity to practice coaching, including effective listening skills, as well as giving and receiving feedback. Participants will also learn how to coach their clients to set “SMART” goals.
In this workshop, you’ll learn:
• What coaching is and what it is not
• How to apply coaching to your role as a manager or advisor
• Experience the benefits of coaching first-hand
• Understand what a SMART goal is and how to coach your employees or clients to set one
You are invited to bring a brown bag lunch so we can network while we eat lunch. There is free parking in the library building.

Hi Lauren,
I am not going to be able to attend your event today.
I am sorry about the late notice but my meeting is going to run longer than I expected.
I even had my brown bag lunch ready to go.
Have a great event, Allen

Thank You Lauren for an informative and well presented workshop. My favorite tip was the comparison of coaching vs. consulting, counseling, mentoring, etc. I will recommend your services when the opportunity arises. ...Howard

Lauren! :-) I was at Amma, the hugging saint, today. From one coach to another, I appreciate you clarifying and differentiating coaching from consulting, counseling, mentoring, etc.... What type of coaching do you do specifically? I bring people home, awakening to their authentic selves and purpose. Much success and much love, Jodi
