Heather and Colleen believe in the awesome, magical power that is Biznik, and once monthly, we drag our Eastside butts to the Marina to prove it.

Come meet up with real, L.A. peeps at our now-regular monthly gathering in the Marina. Networking newbie? No problem! This is the friendliest, lowest-key, funnest (yeah, it's a word...in our world) event around. No speakers, no agenda—just cool, indie business people like yourself gathering to meet, talk, share ideas, blow off steam and build the connections that will change lives.

Okay—that's a little dramatic. How about this: it's networking that is FUN and EASY and FREE!

Join us! Bring your iPhone or crackberry if you can't bear to be away from the email for an hour or so, but bring yourself. We gather on the covered patio, closest to the parking lot. It's getting nice out, so maybe we'll spill out onto the UNcovered patio this time.

There is NO CHARGE to attend; just buy a drink or snack and Mike, our cruise director at Jerry's, will be happy to keep hosting. Bring small bills: we split the check to keep the wear and tear on our waitrons to a minimum.

Colleen looks just like her picture, if it's five years ago and you're standing on a ladder, looking down at her. Heather looks just like her picture, plus cool glasses. We'll have name tags, just to make it super-easy. We can't wait to meet you!

Hi Heather and Colleen, I am sorry I can't make the Marina Del Rey event! I just moved from Long Beach to Carlsbad, Ca.

Do you two have any connections with Huntsville? I found Biznik on-line while locating my long lost friend Richard, who I have not spoken to in 30 years! ...and we are still young!

Four siblings of mine worked at the Wharehouse Restaurant in Marina Del Rey during the 70's. Crack-up!

After attending Heather and Colleen’s last mega magical mixer at Jerry’s, I definitely want to attend this one with all my heart. And with true manly commitment, I will proclaim that I will definitely maybe make it.

There’s an outside chance I have to shoot an event that evening, which would of course pale in spectacularitude to your sparkling star-studded affair. I should know tomorrow. Thanks for the invite

Yippee Ki Yay! I don’t gotta shoot no boring event tonight, and can gladly revel at this non-boring event. Guess I have to leave early though since a couple of clients are threatening a mob hit on me if I don’t finish photoshoping their pics tonight.

So I shall come early and be doubly annoying so everyone will be glad to see me go early.
