Event description

The next generation of websites are all about "mashing up" and community based social marketing. Learn how a content management system as powerful as Joomla! can reach out to your clients and customers.

As a small business owner you can now have immediate access to your website content. Your ability to control every aspect of your website is truly limitless. As a graphic artist or marketing professional you will be able to see the value added to your services by using the framework for your development process.

In this event I will be covering the basics and fundamentals of how the system works. Using a live website we will go through the user interface and get a full comprehension of the administration from a user standpoint.

In the end you should be armed with a good understanding of how a CMS fits with web 2.0 and a thorough understanding of the Joomla user interface and the potential it has for your website.

    Joomla is way cool!

This was my first time hearing about Joomla. Who knew there were so many things you can do to get your website noticed. I am very impressed. I think more people need to know what you and Joomla can do.

Your first Biznik event was a success.

Tony, Congratulations on hosting your first Biznik event - and you did it solo! I enjoyed the great company of so many wonderful Biznik members and guests. The content was clear, easy to understand and you demonstrated everything so clearly. It was even easy for a non-technical person such as myself to understand. Very user friendly. I wish you much success in all of your endeavors!

    Warmly, Meredith

As I am responsible for marketing Tom's business and always in need of new ideas this was a great presentation. I knew nothing about Joomla and now I am happy to say I will look seriously into using it over the next year. Tony's presentation was well organized and thought out. Thank you Bliss

    Tony,

What a terrific Biznik Event! I really enjoyed hearing about Joomla and can't wait to get started with Joy Gilfilen. This is really important information and you did a terrific job in your delivery. You are obviously very good at what you do and making something this technical so easy to understand.
    Thank you, Wenty

Tony, Your passion and energy for what you do within technology to help business owners be more visible and be able to update their own web content was very contagious.

Thank you for your contribution to the community. It was a pleasure to learn more about who you are and what you value in your business. I didn't know how committed you are to helping others succeed. Great job!
