Law for Small Business Owners 101
Hosted by Michael P. Jacobs in Seattle, Washington
When: Tuesday, August 15 6:00 PM to 7:45 PM
Fee: Free
Event description
Join me for an overview and discussion of those areas of law which are frequently of concern to Bizniks. As an attorney, I focus on small business and real estate law; I am also a small-business owner.
- Should you be an LLC? A sole proprietorship? A corporation? In other words, how do you CYA?
- Contracts, client agreements, and other documents that you want to have "just right"
- Collection actions - You don't get paid, then what?
- Lawsuits - You thought you had your ducks lined up but something went wrong and you've been sued; now what?
We're going to try and cover a lot of ground in about an hour and a half. If you've specific questions you'd like to have covered in this session, please send an email in advance: MikeJ@RiachGese.com
With this early start time, do feel free to bring your dinner along.
Our venue prohibits us from charging any fee for this event. If you wish to make a donation to the library or to Biznik that would swell.
