Learning from Aretha: the FUN business-music connection or, better known as the "Sock it to me- Sock it to me- Sock it to me" Discussion

Join us in the new mezzanine café seating area near the entry to the Cactus Café on UT campus to discuss the hidden gems that Aretha offers. We will explore what the Queen of Soul has to offer and what this might look like in our business. We will look at how to have fun while creating an abundant outlook on business and garnering R.E.S.P.E.C.T. that is deserved.

We will meet at 6:00pm and explore themes from Karrie's article, Marketing Insight from Aretha Franklin, and how Aretha can help us see beyond our current understanding of what we do. With the help of other Bizniks, we will each leave the meeting having created at least 3 "sock it to me" punchy one-liners that get to the heart of what we do in an exciting, enticing way.

Your homework before arriving is to read the article (linked above) and think about how it applies to you and how you can specifically use the fun insights to create business breakthroughs for yourself now.

Then at 8:00pm the formal Discussion part of the Biznik meeting will end and the informal Happy Hour will begin as we celebrate Biznik Jenny Reynolds' CD release party.
