Event description

Are you reaching your ideal clients? Do people understand what you do? Does your image reflect professionalism?

Learn the framework to audit your brand and answer concerns like these. Even better, you will get a chance to participate in the process. If you are like most people, doing is a great way of learning. As a group we will go through the process of how to build a successful brand for any organization.

Working together in a brainstorming format we will decide on some key factors to our business. Examples are: what kind of business are we in, why should anyone care, what makes us different, what it is our purpose. We will also discuss ways to describe our company that gives it form, substance and a life of its' own. This process is essential to building a business that is successful and sustainable.

Come prepared to participate and spend a fun and enlightening afternoon building a brand. You'll have an opportunity to introduce yourself and your business to one other before we start, and we'll finish up with some open conversation and networking.

Hi Everyone, I'm looking forward to seeing you all on Friday. In order for us to make the most of our time, I'd like to hear what company we want to work on. We can then get started right away. Below are three choices.

    1. Office Art - This company would offer products business to business. The general idea is setting up fine art in office spaces.
    2. Hat Store - Sells hats directly to consumers in a retail environment.
    3. Dogwalker - Just like it sounds. Walking dogs for people.

These are three distinct companies that offer services in different ways. Two are product related- one is b to b and one is b to c. The last one is a service b to c. While none of us might or might not want to run companies like these, it will lead us through the process. Pick one that interests you in approach and how you might create a niche for that business.

Please let me know what your choice is as soon as you can. Feel free to post your choice or send an email back to me. Thanks.

Thank you everyone voting for a company concept. Office Art is the winner. Think about what that might look like to you. I'm looking forward to seeing you all tomorrow. Thanks.
