Event description

The current language of the day includes words like downturn, recession, greed, difficult times, and doom and gloom. But we also hear about upturn, hope, new ideas, financial creativity, and opportunity.

Come learn how to stay resilient even when your environment is in chaos mode. Hear what financial lenders might expect from you for personal and business loans. What’s working well for you that you are willing to share? Collectively, we’re sure to have an abundance of knowledge from everyone present.

Some of the questions we’ll discuss are:

  • How are you reacting to the reality of your current business situation?
  • How does it impact your personal life?
  • In what ways are you looking at your business differently?
  • How has your financial situation shifted with changes in the way banks do business?
  • What are you looking forward to in the days ahead? For yourself? For your business?
  • In what ways are you bringing even more value to your customers?
  • What lessons have you learned about you and your business during this shift in the economy?

These days are exciting in the way they are drawing out new patterns of thought about how small businesses can continue to play a major role in sustaining commerce in the US and globally. The opportunities are there for you and your business to be a part of that experience.

Light snacks and refreshments will be served.

    Patricia and Lydia,

What a great idea! Your topic is most timely and I can just imagine the synergy between the two of you plus your attendees.

I am not sure whether I will be able to attend so am not signing up yet, and I like your idea and the way you are collaborating.

    Congratulations!

I've been meaning to stop by and say Hi to Lydia (her store is just across the parking lot from where I grocery shop), now I have multiple reasons to come! Sound like a great event. Love the focus on "resilience."

Greetings Patricia and Lydia, I wish I could join you but I have already made plans for Tuesday evening. I live in Redmond so this would have been an ideal event for me to attend. Thanks for hosting it. ~Suzi Luke

Lydia and I look forward to seeing you all tonight. Resilience is at the core of the balance we seek in our lives, perhaps even more so during these days. We'll enjoy a lively discussion on how that can happen.

I am SO SO SO SO sorry to cancel at the last minute. I have been sick all day (I'm never sick!) and keep thinking I'll feel better, but here it is 5:20 and I'm running a litttle fever and still can't even get energy to get in the shower. I think I'm going to have to network on my couch tonight.

I hope you do something again! Tuesday nights are more often than not open for me, and this is the closest Biznik event that's been offered to my home since I joined! Have a great event.
