Great Idea, Scott! Looks like a cool way to get to know a few folks, form alliances and do a little brainstorming as well. Looking forward to your event....

Scott Janzen of Janzen Public Relations will host a two-hour event that will provide an opportunity for anyone involved in advertising, PR, design, interactive, direct or other marketing services to connect with other professionals.
There will be an opportunity to tout your expertise, make connections and learn how we can all work together to build our communications practices.

Thanks, Mike. It can't hurt any of us in the local marketing world to make new connections. The person who introduced me to BizNik has become a great new marketing partner. Love it!
Hi Scott, I'm giving an SEM workshop that night, please keep me on your list of upcoming events like this one.
Hello,
For the most part, I'm a newbie to Biznik. I've had a profile for quite some time but never attended one of these events. I happen to know Joel from his days as a model.
Looking to discuss marketing and branding strategies with some of the folks in attendance.
It may be the case that I'm a touch late in arriving as I'm working that day, but otherwise, I'll be there. Any tips you might suggest for someone new to an event like this?
Michael:
I'm new to Biznik as well. This my first event, and I'm delighted we're full. I'm going to keep this really informal, providing everyone a chance to chat. At some point, I'll ask everyone to introduce themselves and talk about what they do and what kind of tie-ins they're looking for. Just bring plenty of business cards!
Scott
Please let me know the next time you have a similar event.
Oops! Crazy schedule means I have to bail... bummed I'm going to miss this! Hope you'll do another one soon...

Thank you, Scott, for spearheading this wonderful forum. I am so sorry to learn that it is full. Should a spot become available, please apprise me of same. I would be most honored to be a part of this powerful medium.
Bright beginnings,
Nandell
Nandell:
As you can see from above, we've had one person cancel, so please stop by on Thursday night!
Scott
Thanks a million, Scott. See you there. By the way, could you furnish the exact location for the event, please?
Best,
Nandell
See above (up on the right) -- it's at my wife's office (Janzen & Associates), just down the street from Seattle Pacific University. Plenty of parking.
Unfortunately, I won't be able to make it up to Seattle today. It would have been great to meet you all.
Eric
I am so disappointed that I will not be able to attend and meet all of you. Something has come up that will prevent me from getting to Seattle tonight. Have fun-perhaps next time.
Scott,
Since you're supplying the wine I'll bring crackers and tapenade for everyone. Oh, and napkins too.

Sounds great -- thanks!
