Event description

The first Marketing Theory Happy Hour was such a huge hit, we're doing it again.

Come on down to Liberty and join me for drinks and discourse. The topic for the evening is: "The old-school of marketing has been all but demolished. So what the hell do we do now?"

I spend an inordinate amount of time reading, thinking and talking about the subject. But it's a huge subject that nobody fully understands, so I thought I might see if I could spark a wider dialog in the Biznik community to see what brilliance emerges.

This won't be a one-sided presentation. It's going to be more of an open discussion which I humbly will moderate.

Don't be shy about signing up. You don't have to bring any earth-shattering insights. All you need is the desire to understand the big ideas we'll be wrestling with.

Wow, what a great bunch of Biznik members. Wow, what a bunch of brain power, energy, and wealth of knowledge!

What a great introduction to Biznik events. I saw this event posted while checking my email at the end of the day. Looked at my watch and saw that it was to begin in about an hour and a half. Jumped in the shower and headed across town to Capital Hill. I can never commit to these kind of things in advance as I own two businesses. If I have the time, I'm all for getting out to network, meet great people, and learn a lot as I did last night. Biznik works the way I do seems like.

Wish I would have had more time to meet everyone at the meeting, but I believe I'll get the chance another day.

Best regards, Darrell Kirk Coffee News

This was the first even I've gone to since joining Biznik. What a great way to meet other small business people who I can relate to. The Liberty is also a wonderful place with great drinks. I really enjoyed meeting everyone and to learn a little bit more about the ups of downs self-employment.

One interesting conversation that came up was the psychology behind procrastination. Is it the fear of falling or the fear of success? Definitely a topic that I want to look into further not only for the sake of my line of business (helping procrastinators get organized), but also for myself.

Thanks for the great Event Dominic! Hope to see everyone again soon.
