Whaddya doing, just hanging around on the Internet? That ain't what this Biznik thing is about!

Come meet up with real, L.A. peeps at our now-regular monthly gathering in the Marina. Networking newbie? No problem! This is the friendliest, lowest-key, funnest (yeah, it's a word...in my world) event around. No speakers, no agenda—just independent business people like yourself gathering to meet, talk, share ideas, blow off steam and build the connections that will change lives.

Okay—that's a little dramatic. How about this: it's networking that is FUN and EASY and FREE!

Join us! Bring your iPhone or crackberry if you can't bear to be away from the email for an hour or so, but bring yourself. We gather on the covered patio, closest to the parking lot. It's getting nice out, so maybe we'll spill out onto the UNcovered patio this time.

There is NO CHARGE to attend; just buy a drink or snack and Mike, our cruise director at Jerry's, will be happy to keep hosting. Bring small bills: we split the check to keep the wear and tear on our waitrons to a minimum.

Colleen looks just like her picture, if it's five years ago and you're standing on a ladder, looking down at her. Heather looks just like her picture, plus cool glasses. We'll have name tags, just to make it super-easy. We can't wait to meet you!

"heather looks like her photo ..." except WITH glasses. colleen is always too nice to my corrected vision [or perhaps i lied to the camera taking off my glasses]. in any case, i'm glad to see those of you who can make it, maybe we'll tell industry secrets this time to create a buzz about whatever everyone else has been missing. i know i've got some file save preferences i've been just ITCHING to talk about. ha.
