Man, I hate to miss this! I've had blogging interactions with Colleen and feel that I already know her. Ferry issues again. Hmmm, maybe it's time to move back to the mainland.

I was there at the bar, a little late, but saw no one with name tags. How did I miss you guys?

There were so many of us, we ended up taking over a couple of long line of tables in the restaurant, in the back against a wall. Many of us stayed til 8:30. So sorry we missed you, Susan!

What a great event. I met some wonderful people and had some fantastic conversations. I think we should try to get another event together at Purple and reserve the back room this time.

Thanks for hosting an awesome event, Suzanne and Colleen! The venue rocked. I definitely would attend more events there.

Well, I was floored by it all: the amazing turnout, the beautiful views, the fun I had meeting everyone. Thank you to everyone who came and a big, mega-normous shout-out to Suzanne, who pulled this thing together.

I had such a great time. Thanks so much for hosting this, Suzanne and Colleen. I got to know some great people and had inspiring talks. It seemed so easy to connect. The "elevator speech" becomes a whole new meaning..

Melinda - I'm doing one event with Dan a week from Friday - October 17. And Suzanne lives here! Now that she's proven such an amazing hostess, I think we can expect more on the horizon from her.

Ingrid - It was lovely meeting you. And it is easy to connect when no one has an agenda (other than, you know, connecting.) Everyone was super low-key and just into meeting everyone else. Ergo, event excellence.

In addition to the event called, "Low-to-No-Cost Marketing Using Social Media and Good, Old Common Sense", that Colleen is co-hosting with Dan on Friday, October 17, Colleen is also a guest speaker at one of Howard Howell's events the day before on October 16, called, "Author-Publisher Roundtable".

Wow what a great gathering of interesting people. I consider it successful when I hit it off with one great contact but last night far exceeded that number. I met so many fun people and grateful for it and for meeting the very bright and funny Suzanne. Looking forward to reconnecting with you again....you know who you are. Patricia
