Join us for a relaxing walk around Capitol Lake overlooking Olympia's historic Capitol Hill.

If you're like me, you spend too much of your day sitting in front of a computer, on the telephone, or in a car. It's very difficult as an indie business person to balance work and personal time, particularly when it comes to exercise.

I really enjoyed the walk and talk. Being both a busy single mom, and also a business woman, I found that exercise time is a rare commodity, but something that is more and more important to me. I found that with my new focus on health, having business meetings at lunch or in coffee shops was going against my fitness goals.

I would suggest this event to anyone who wants a little more fresh air, and a new way of doing business to join us for this wonderful free event. You heart and lungs, plus your business will thank you for it!

This will be a regular event, every Monday, throughout the summer season.

Of course, this is a casual event, but sometimes the best business ideas come out of getting a breath of fresh air and chatting with friends.

The only rules are:

• Cell phones off (or at least on "stun")
• Bring a good pair of walking shoes
• Bring your thinking cap to help your fellow Bizniks

Dogs are optional, but welcome -- and no, you do not need to RSVP for them too :)
