Join me in this networking reception - cap your work week by visiting a neighborhood you keep hearing about. Travel to Northern Long Island City and meet each other in my artist's studio.
Beginning at 5:30p.m., Bizniks will gather to introduce their products and services. At 6:00 p.m., I'll begin a group discussion around the issue of using artwork to benefit a business. Why spend money on artwork for your business environment? How does original artwork affect your clients? How does it affect you? How can you use original artwork to change your business image? All participants will receive a complimentary gift. Astoria is next door - after the net-working, explore the area for a fabulous evening meal or visit the Socrates Sculpture Park to take in the sunset along Manhattan's East River.
It's easy to find me - look for our distinctive building - red with white polka-dots! The subway will take you to the Broadway stop ("N" or "W"), it's a 12 minute walk straight down Broadway, turn right onto 12th St. If you drive street parking is available.

I used to work in LIC - I like the area. The Noguchi Museum would be a great place to drop by too. Too bad I won't be able to attend as I'll be in Edmonton, Canada that weekend.
