Event description

What would happen if we filled a room with incredible BizNik members, networked, had a few drinks all while supporting a great cause? We invite you to our Networking with a Cause Happy Hour. Each month we will gather at a venue to do some business, meet new friends/business associates and support some of our favorite charitable organizations.

It’s simple to attend. Just gather some couch change, latte money or more along with your business cards and sparkling personality. At the end of the night, we will cut a check from all the donations to the nonprofit of the month on behalf of the BizNik Business Community. This is a great opportunity for all of us to bond together and make a difference in our world

This month we will be joined by the Global Music Project and 2 musicians from Africa. We are also making this event recession-proof - meaning BYOB! We will provide some snacks as well as some door prizes.

July Cause of the Month – Global Music Project
Global Music Project is an international non-profit organization whose mission is to unite humanity through music and cultural awareness, thereby strengthening bonds between human beings and bringing about collaboration and peace.

Global Music Project mission will be accomplished through the realization of the following objectives:

Record music and video footage from developing cultures throughout the world. Promote, market, and distribute these recordings globally. Continue to expand their internet community and global web presence, so they can reach artists who wish to showcase their work and connect them to a global audience.

To find out more about the Global Music Project, visit http://globalmusicproject.org

What are you passionate about? Arts, Education, Health, Social Services or the Environment? Let us know and we will plan to honor and support your cause in the upcoming months. We will also be making time at these events to connect with people who share your non-profit passions.

    Hi,

This looks great. DAG! I'll not be able to ever make a Thursday night round of this, and I'm so glad to know its happening. Who are the two African artists included in the support from this round? Everything about this event is right up in my professional and passionate alley. So, rock on!

Weird. I posted a posting to this and cancelled my RSVP as soon as I could -- I got home and did it right away... but neitherthe cancellation or the note are showing up!~ Note to Eastsiders... with the work on the I-90 bridge, any event in the city toward noram rush hour traffic requires getting out of the eastside by about 4 p.m.... as in, already over the bridge by then. At 530 I was on the 405 waiting line to get to 520. By 6 I'd moved to the Medina surface streets to try to bypass most of 520. .. but they were also backed up. By 630, having moved about a block, I said forget it, went back home to Kirkland ... and wrote the note and RSVP. Bridge work bites, whether it's at the dentist or over Lake Washington! Sorry I missed this event. Dave Kuhns http://www.cyranowriter.com cyrano@cyranowriter.com

Thank you for hosting a great event. "Networking with a Cause" was my first Biznik function and I thoroughly enjoy talking with the people I met. I've already sat down with a contact I made to discuss further potential business opportunities. I look forward to getting more involved with Biznik!
