It grows and shrinks, it's different every month, but L.A.'s original & longest-running Biznik mixer is always a good time.

Come see why: no speakers, no agenda—just cool, indie business people like yourself gathering to meet, talk, share ideas, blow off steam and build the connections that will change lives. In a nutshell: it's networking that is FUN and EASY and FREE!

We gather on the covered patio, closest to the parking lot. The patio area comfortably fits about 30 people, which is why we cap attendance for this event. (But yes, if there is space, we welcome guests! Huzzah!

If you get there early, check the bar area. Colleen looks just like her picture, if it's six years ago and you're standing on a ladder. Heather looks just like her picture, plus cool glasses.

We'll have name tags, just to make it super-easy. We can't wait to meet you!

DOWN AND DIRTY DEETS:

Order drinks at the bar; order food at the tables. If you end up splitting a check with someone for food, please be sure to pay up in full before you leave. As a gentle reminder, CA State tax is now a whopping 10%, and we like to make sure the staff is tipped well.

I was really looking forward to meeting everyone, but I'm feeling under the weather and don't think I'll be able to make it. I do plan on attending The Chicken Wing Thing event, so I hope to at least meet some of you there. I hope you all have a great evening and make worthwhile connections.

My first ever biznik mixer, and I got a warm welcome. I liked the combination of relaxed and casual. My worst fear is to be ignored and not connect with anyone, but it felt like people were genuinely interested in what I do (web design and illustration). I even got over my shyness enough to have lively conversations with at least six people. I could only stay for an hour, but I’ll definitely be coming back!
