Online Social Networking 101

Social media and networking websites have gotten a lot of attention lately. It seems everyone has a Twitter account, a page on Facebook, a blog, an account with Biznik and their resume on LinkedIn - except you! Or you have recently created your own accounts on these sites only to realize you have no idea what to do or how to make it work for you and your business, but in today's economic times you don't want to miss any opportunities.

This workshop is designed just for you. In the first part of the workshop, you will learn what social media and networking is, what it isn't, what all the buzz words mean, how social media affects your website traffic and Google rankings and what sites you need to know about. In the second part, you will learn how to use social media and networking through easy paced, step-by-step instructions. You will also learn what types of social networking make sense for you to be involved in and which ones you can skip.

The workshop is free and after business hours so you don't have to sacrifice time out of the office. Meet in the lobby of NetSource Technologies at 3700 South Pine Avenue at 5:30pm on Tuesday, May 26th. The workshop will run until approximately 7pm with Q&A until the last question is asked.
