Our event is educational and engaging, focused on solving business owners' big business issues through networking, thought leadership, sharing of ideas and approaches, and connecting local business owners with the resources that can help them.
We will have business experts representing the Portland community available to share insights, information, and resources to help SMBs thrive and grow in their own communities.
We are offering this event at no cost to demonstrate our commitment to small local businesses and to stimulate positive energy to help jump-start the business economy. We hope that this FREE opportunity will give you the tools you need to achieve success.
We realize that time is at a premium for business owners so we have broken the event into three sessions. Come for one and stay for all!

4:00 pm Session 1: Social Media 101 Workshop Shannon Pratuch will present a quick start strategy to building your social media platform and getting launched.
4:40 pm Session 2: Who’s Talking About You? Liz Strauss will deliver expert advice on building business relationships.

5:30 pm Session 3: Panel Discussion This session will be moderated by small business coach, entrepreneur and author Barry Moltz. It will be an interactive discussion with local Portland business experts:

I wonder who else in Portland is attending who doesn't realize this Biznik event page is up? (Or, maybe it's just me who was clueless! lol)
I've already RSVP'd and looking forward to meeting everyone. Thanks for bringing this event to our fair city. :-)

Jun 29, 2012 Yes, the banner in the special offers section is the one to which I was referring. It clicks to the original registration page, and Dex One is prominent as the Big Kahuna putting on these events in various places.
I didn't "get" that this was the same event.
And, yes, it will be awesome to finally meet each other "IRL"! lol

We are looking forward to a great event today! I wanted to be sure you had the event details in case you did not receive the emails.
World Forestry Center – Miller Hall 4033 SW Canyon Road Portland, OR 97221
Directions: By Car: We are just five minutes from downtown Portland in beautiful Washington Park.
Trimet: Washington Park has its own MAX stop, which lets you off right at the our front door.
BUS #63 also runs to Washington Park. Please check trimet.org for route information
Parking: Complimentary parking for the World Forestry Center is available in the lot that is shared with the Portland Children's Museum and the Oregon Zoo. On the day of the event, signs will identify the parking entrance. If this lot is full please follow the signs to the shuttle parking lot west of the campus.
Directions to Miller Hall: Miller Hall at the World Forestry Center is located across the street from the parking lot. Cross over SW Knights Blvd. and follow the signs to Miller Hall.
Check-in information: Event registration will be located in the lobby outside of Miller Hall. There will be signs on the day of the event to identify the entrance.

Also, just in case - remember to go to the Dex registration page to complete your registration for this event - as RSVPing on Biznik is an indication that you are attending - not an official RSVP.
