Event description

Are you committed to women, so committed your business is devoted to serving them? Would you like to build a strong, supportive network with other entrepreneurs who share your passion?

Power Chicks Networking is a monthly event designed for those who want to network with women. Like the Power Chicks group itself, it’s based on my belief that we can support one another in unique, positive and powerful ways.

Together, we can make connections that will enhance both our professional and personal lives.

You’ll come away with:

• New relationships sparked & established ones, renewed

• A sense of community with women who share your passions

• Connections to help you grow your business

What we’ll do:

1) Start with introductions all around

2) Break into small groups and chat about specific questions such as: What’s your story? What inspires you to do what you do? What’s your biggest struggle right now? How can we help you?

3) End with a half-hour or so of open mingling, giving you a chance to meet, talk and network with everyone you want.

Designed for Power Chicks but open to all!

Not sure what the Power Chicks are all about? Click on the "Groups" tab and find us at the top of the list. We'd love to have you join us!

A couple of you have mentioned receiving notices that there is an opening, because you're on a waiting list.

If this happens to you - go PRONTO to the event page and RSVP! If you don't sign up immediately, someone else may notice it and sign up.

These meetings have filled up astonishingly fast. I'm sorry there's not more room; I'm brainstorming ways and locations where I can do a similar event but with a much bigger group.

If any of you have ideas - please give a shout out! You can either post it here, or send me an email.

    Thanks!

Debby & all - here's what happens when you can't RSVP after a cancelation:

The Biznik computer system sends "club VIP" members a note saying someone has canceled. The person next up on the waiting list (which is only available to paying members) then has option of getting in. That's why an open spot may already be taken when you try to register.

So sorry to all who would like to attend but can't. Do look for additional meetings to be announced soon. They're coming! : )

Lynn, I will have to cancel... I did not want to cancel, so I waited until last minute and see if I could squeeze this in but I don't think I can. I will have to write up an offer Tuesday morning... and I will have to spend some time to prepare/finalize the contract... I am so disappointed. I was looking forward to seeing you and Kate!

  • Lynn Baldwin-Rhoades

    We'll miss you, Yuno!

For others - did you just RSPV this morning because of a cancellation? I sent out an email last night and want you to have the info, too. Here goes:

We've got a full house, so our event will be a terrific place to get acquainted, make connections and get the support we all need to grow our businesses.

We'll be starting promptly at noon. If you'd like to get something to eat or drink, arrive in plenty of time to do so. I know we're all busy, and I really want to honor each of us by starting and ending the meeting on time.

All righty-o -- see you tomorrow at noon sharp! I really am excited to see you. : )

    Warmly,

    Lynn

    Ladies,

I just read the feedback from our meeting, and I'm all goose-bump-y with the kind and marvelous things you said! : )

"High-energy," "inspirational," "fabulous" -- and that's just for starters. You gave me some terrific ideas for improvement as well. That feedback is just so key as I refine the process of our meetings, so they offer you the most possible value.

A special thanks to Beth Buelow for her part in helping us stay on task. And I just loved the chime, didn't you? A nice addition - better than me hollering between questions! (Okay, I may have done that, too...)

Thanks for coming yesterday. I'm so glad you're a part of this group and, by extension, my life.

    Warmly,

    Lynn

    Lynn,

Having attended Power Chicks for the first time yesterday, I can fully understand how your events have become booked solid! Thank you for first setting such a wonderful example of generosity and authenticity. Your commitment to being real set the atmosphere for the wonderful exchanges that followed.

I'll return for the inspiration and power surge that I experienced and ideally shared with others!

Warm Regards, Sandra J. Diva of Delight, Well-being Coach for Seasoned Leaders
