Event description

We will dig in deep on how to attract and close more customers through the use of free social media tools combined with a perspective on branding that I guarantee that you have never heard before. We will step through detailed examples of what it takes to get you up and running with a sound social media strategy for your business. These aren't ideas that are nice to have, they are the new marketing fundamentals that every business should be putting to use today. As much as you know social media is a powerful tool, it all starts with the right brand strategy. What you do and say within your social media campaign is more important than the medium itself. Coming from years of branding experience and working with Fortune500 companies, your brand promise is absolutely step one in your new success.

If you have questions about anything from branding to Twitter, then this is the event for you. In today's world, you need all the competitive advantages available to you as a business. This workshop is designed to place the power of social media and the right brand promise into your own hands.

About the Presenter

Steven MacDonald is the founder of StudioHDV, the Practical Social Media Newsletter and the e-commerce site, The Designer Jean Company. His first hand knowledge and Fortune 500 marketing background with companies like Coca Cola, VISA, Nike, P&G and more provides a unique backdrop to help companies wade through the new world of marketing opportunities and social media tools. Spanning more than two decades, he has been the VP of Strategic Planning for Mazda, EVP of a regional marketing firm, partner in a successful advertising agency and CEO of a dot.com. He is on the Thought Leadership Board of a national marketing group, spoken at companies like US Airways, and been published in business journals.

100 people, many coming from Seattle. Too many individuals driving cars by themselves to the same place, Biznik is better than that. Who would like to carpool? I am coming from South Seattle and can pick you up between Columbia City and I90 at 5:30ish. Message me directly on Biznik if you want a ride. I encourage others coming to make similar offers. Looking forward to the event.

See you all soon! Warmly, Leif www.SparkSocialMedia.com

I just had to cancel my reservation as I am under a deadline today (not tax related) and I still have another couple of hours to work before completed. I was so looking forward to this since the last event I attended was very informative.

Well, if our car's battery had not died in front of Nintendo's offices, @david wiggs and I would have made it to this awesome event. Instead, we had to get the car home so the battery could die again in our garage.

Steve (and Nancy) put on a fantastic and informative evening. I circled lots of "take action now" tips on my notes.

There was so much value, I can't believe this was free. This is my second workshop with Steve, and he does an excellent job!

    Thank you, Jeff Evans http://www.amazementprodutions.com

Hi Steve, Thanks for a great event. As a life coach, I have been struggling with how I can make my business stand out more on the internet. Your class spelled out some great suggestions that I can do in addition to the ones I already have in place. Thank you for sharing your valuable time and knowledge. ~Meisha
