Event description
My special guest today is my friend and mentor Patrick Snow, the international best-selling author of "Creating Your Own Destiny: How to Get Exactly What You Want Out of Life and Work" and his latest, "The Affluent Entrepreneur."
Patrick makes his living as a professional speaker and author, and he also coaches other entrepreneurs to do the same. A wealth of information and inspiration, Patrick will share the wisdom learned on his long journey to success (and 20+ tips to shorten your own path to success!)
Come learn:
- What it takes to get paid as a speaker
- The Author-Speaker formula that will make your talks effortless and memorable
- Why Professional Speakers need to be storytellers
- The top "in demand" topics that people get paid to speak about
- What kind of fees are being paid by corporate meeting planners
- How to ensure a meeting planner will want to work with you again
- The Revenue Evolution Ladder and how 99% of business people limit their ability to make money!
- How to leverage one speaking engagement into more
- Why it pays to be an author if you're a speaker
Plus, hear a demonstration - a short version of Patrick's keynote, and learn why he's been paid up to $18,000 for a single speech!
If you've thought about turning your expertise into another income stream (or simply a way to attract more clients and make a bigger difference), don't miss this event!

Patrick, my head is still swimming from all the information and juicy details you gave us from your 10+ years experience in speaking and publishing! This is, hands down, one of the best workshops I've ever attended. I told my husband that, while the workshop was free, I felt I got maybe $395 worth of info!!!

Nov 21, 2011 Wow - welcome to all of our new RSVP's - we've had a big flurry and are bursting at the seams! And I see that Judith, Terra, Banu, Deborah and Theresa are coming back for more of Patrick's wisdom!
Patrick and I are going to look for an additional date to offer this, since we can't raise the RSVP limit anymore without running the risk of not being able to squeeze everyone into the room.
I'm also messaging attendees to see if anyone's plans have changed... if you know you can no longer attend the Nov 30th event, kindly cancel your RSVP to make room for others who wish to attend. Thank-you!

Nov 21, 2011 I will be on a call and might be half hr late. Is that OK? Otherwise, I will have to opt-out.

Nov 21, 2011 No problem, Banu. You're small... we can squeeze you in! I just need to be able to plan for seats, and as space and seats are not unlimited... I just need to know who is coming,
Thanks to a couple of people removing their RSVP's, we have a couple new spaces!

Nov 23, 2011 I've just confirmed December 13th, 6:30 at Friends, Philosophy and Tea for another Professional Speaker Secrets. The event may not be published until after Thanksgiving, but when it is, I'll message everyone in case that date or location works better for anyone registered here. I realize we are bursting at the seems!

Nov 28, 2011 The next date isn't yet posted on the main events page (even Biznik staff deserves a Thanksgiving break!), but the Dec 13th Professional Speaker Secrets is posted in the Trainers, Speakers and Event Hosts group, you can find the group and RSVP for the event at: http://biznik.com/groups/trainers-speakers-event-hosts
(I just noticed there's also a cool event on Dec 8th in Redmond where you can practice speaking in front of a small group...)

Nov 28, 2011 You sure did! Way to go! I've got to close down further RSVP's on this event, I am told that the room will be completely maxed out at 40 (but we should get a few cancellations and no-shows.)
Everyone else who wishes to still RSVP, get yourselves over to Bellevue December 13th: http://biznik.com/events/professional-speaker-secrets-turn-your-expertise-into-more-clients-cash-and-contribution--7
We won't be offering this class again for at least a few months.
