This event has been designed for those Bizniks who work in or are interested in the real estate industry.

Come join Biznik experts in their field to learn how to be proactive in getting houses sold in this changing market. Our feature speaker will be Ian Porter of Principal Appraisal who will talk about current market conditions and what he thinks the future holds.

In addition you will have a chance to share thoughts and ideas with other house organizers, stagers, photographers, inspectors, appraisers, title & escrow representatives, mortagage brokers & realtors. I look forward to learning about our Real Estate Market for my investment owners. They always ask me whether or not they should buy more or sell their rental. I have no idea since I don't do that! Should I renew their tenants lease, should I refer them to a Sales Agent...no clue. This event is great! Thanks Julie!

Allen, Thanks for checking in. It is my hope that we make this an ongoing event featuring a different Biznik member each time. There are so many aspects of real estate that make this educational/networking opportunity worthwhile. I look forward to meeting you another time.

I've been pretty entrenched in the real estate social media space for the past few years- did a site redesign for Real Estate Magazine (RISmedia), working with the Master Builders Association in Bellevue and also being on the adviser board for SageListings (think Zillow, but for commercial real estate and way cooler)

It will be interesting to hear what everyone thinks about real estate and the shifting market conditions with the latest weekly financial changes.

    Barry,

    Glad you can make it.

Looking forward to meeting you and hearing your take on what's going on in our marketplace. I just spent an afternoon at Zillow learning about all the tools they offer. I'll be interested in learning more about SageLisitngs.

    Hi Julie,

I look forward to this event and hope I can learn some new ideas or skills to help me sell more real estate. I also look forward to sharing information about my www.eSiteTours.com professional photography and virtual tour web site creation company. Professional photography and excellent web presence has never been more important than it is now.

    Hi Julie,

I'm looking forward to meeting you and friends in our field. I have been fortunate to lately guide a number of difficult purchase transactions to a successful close, so I'll be happy to share my thoughts on what it takes to get a deal done in this challenging lending environment

It was great to see everyone that joined us today. Alot of good information! Thanks to Ian for your insight from the appraisal side and to all the others who spoke. I enjoyed meeting everyone and sharing ideas. Thanks Julie for putting on a great event.

What a turn out! Like Jesse this was my first Biznik event and Ian's presentation on Appraisals was fabulous and inspired some great group discussion. I met many people that I will certainly refer business to and also call to assist me in my own. Julie, thank you for inviting me to join and giving me the opportunity to gain more insight on our industry and meet some wonderful people! I look forward to the next event.

Gas to get to Bellevue and back ~ $30 Snack and drinks at event location ~ $20 Meeting great people, networking, listening to great information from well spoken presenters= priceless. Ok so that was a little cheesy but honestly I am so impressed by the Biznik events I have attended and how well the "Biznik model" really works! This was great thought out event and I came away with quite a few takeaways including an idea for a article for Tom and I to write. Thank you again to the hosts and speakers. - bliss

Julie, What a success. Congratulations on hosting your first event. It is obvious that many Biznik's have an interest and connection to what is happening in the real estate industry. I enjoyed hearing positive comments and suggestions from many as to what we can do to weather the storm. I think we should continue to meet and encourage each other to find workable solutions to our shared challenges. Continued Success, Rick

Thanks Julie for this really great event. The insight into the appraisal procedure and the many things that influence it has always intrigued me. As a frequent home seller and buyer it's impact has always been felt, but it's mechanics always somewhat obscure. Ian presentation and Q & A were most enlightening. You could actually feel the dynamics in the room with everyone in the industry wondering where this market will take us in the coming year. Who won the free home staging consult? I'd like to follow up with them and see they are taken care of. Thanks Susan

I want to thank to all who attended and made this such a great event but especially I’d like to thank my friend and partner, Julie Varon. The same energy and enthusiasm she puts into her real estate business, she put into this event and it shows. I meet a lot of great people and look forward to many more events. There are a lot of networking groups out there but the biznik community is a breath of fresh air and a cut above the rest. Thanks Grover
