Facilitator Lori Richardson will just be returning from Sales SheBang - (www.salesshebang.com) - an international conference on sales and marketing - so will be FULL of ideas, tips, tricks, and solutions combined with everyone else's input should make for a fun focused time.

Bring your newest strategy for success, your goals, and bring your biggest challenge. We'll use the knowledge in the room to help anyone with specific issues. Also, we'l lmake time to go around the group to check in to see what everyone is working on.

Fun, food, focus.... and a good dose of inspiration. Welcoming those outside of Bellingham north of us and south of us to visit.

  Jeckyl & Hyde is closed at 4PM on Tuesdays so we need to find another venue for this event - any suggestions?

  How about The Public Market? I can talk to the owners about reserving several tables and everyone can get their own coffee or dinner or snacks.

  The Black Drop Coffeehouse is also a good venue. I can speak to the owners there about reserving a space. They are locally owned and open until 7 pm.

  Boundary Bay Brewery has Happy Hour between 4 and 6 pm and it's relatively quiet on Tuesday afternoons. They even make their own rootbeer!

  If wood fire pizza is your thing, La Fiamma might be a good place to have the event.

  Meredith, if we needed it, would the space at Keller Williams be available? Would it accommodate us?

  I am still fired up from last night!! I can't wait for Tuesday the 30th. Venue: hmmm what about Nona Rosa's? on magnolia, they are pretty good and have some tables in the back area that are more private.

  if you need a media room with tv etc. Exit has a nice large table and meeting room that can be reserved. Plus the price is right: free (:

  Well - lots to think about regarding the venue. I did have wood fired pizza on my mind! Because of the timing I thought it good to do something food related - but am open.

  Hi Ellen, thanks for your note. I have just changed the venue to Boundary Bay Brewery on Railroad Ave. since they will be open at 4PM - I'll have a table and a Biznik sign on the table -

  If a few of us order appetizers - or dinner - they will be very pleased to have us there.

  Thank you Lori for a friendly, informative event. I always like to hear the latest information for business. The reaffirmation on the importance of phone follow up is always good as it is usually everyones least favorite thing to do, so easy to just fall into the email cycle, when human contact is so import still, even in this "information" age.

  Thank you, Lori, for encouraging us to persevere in contacting clients and prospects. I appreciated all of your other tips as well. Those of us in Sales need to hear lots of ideas so we can choose our style and niche for promoting ourselves and help us to stand out from the crowd. The days of trying to be everything to everyone are over and we all have our areas of expertise and personalities that will attract our perfect clients!
