Event description

For those business owners and solo-preneurs who do not see themselves as natural sales people. A slightly irreverent look at selling, this workshop will give you some amusing insights, specific actions and greater confidence to sell more business.

The specific topic is “Closing the Sale”, which has very different meanings for different people. Don’t worry you can and do…now let’s see how it works and how it can be more effective for your business. We will cover:

• What is “Closing”?
• When do I “Close”?
• Do I have to “Close”?
• What are my blockages?
• How can I make it less painful?
• How do I deal with all the business that will pore in after this workshop?

As many of you know, Mosaic is an amazing venue that survives entirely on contributions, so please arrive early enough to order a snack, lunch or at least a drink (wonderful tea) and bring it in to the room with you. Please do this in time for a 12:30 start. We will of course start with introductions. I would like you to introduce yourself with your “Elevator Pitch” for your business, followed by a quick anecdote about you “Closing”, being “Closed” or the pain of asking for the order….

Terry Murphy, has managed, taught and coached selling on 4 continents for over 20 years. Founder of SelTrak training in Malaysia, certified trainer for the Mastery Institute, he has worked with all types of selling from door-to-door vacuum cleaners to government contracts, from beauty services to major capital items.

...“He sells without the hype, his down to earth approach is refreshing and hits home.”

“ One can't talk about Terry without mentioning his humor and wit.”...

Thnx, Paul...just thought if you are going to get ahead, you would need this workshop early so as to have a full day to apply the information....(hehe), NOT!

I have alerted Tech Support and sent you all an email. This posting is for anyone else who spots the event prior to the time being changed back. 12:30 to 2:00 pm, Wednesday 27th.

Terry, here's to hoping you can repeat the workshop sometime soon. I do have a schedule conflict. Even some of us who KNOW we are in sales, still consider ourselves: non-salesfolk.

This topic sounds fascinating and timely.

Terry, ditto the above comments about schedule conflict and hoping you repeat this one soon. If there is a way to send out a notice when you put the next workshop up I would love to be on the list!
