Dawn Thomas http://biznik.com/members/dawn-thomas will be our Featured Speaker at our Biznik.com networking meeting and we will have our monthly Master Minds/ Speed Networking event at Debbie Lynn's Costume Shop from 6 to 8pm on June 30th.
Dawn will be sharing with us: “You’ve had great success with all of your SoMe (Social Media) and blogging efforts. So, now what? What happens when you get a new client face-to-face? Attend the next Biznik networking event and learn great communications tips and negotiations strategies. Real Estate Broker Associate, Dawn Thomas, has been studying and practicing Communication and Negotiations for more than 15 years and is happy to share her knowledge with you!”
I am also going to collect your business card on the way in the door and will draw 3 business cards from the fishbowl for an opportunity for a "MasterMind" style Q&A. If your card is pulled from the bowl, you have an opportunity to share a challenge, problem, or opportunity with the room and have the various experts in the room help you brainstorm some ideas for your issue. We will keep each one to 10 minutes each, so have your ISSUE identified and succint - spend 1- 2 minutes describing so we can spend 8 minutes brainstorming for you.
We will also do one round of speed networking at the end of the meeting.

I'm not sure if I'll make this one, as much as I'd love to make more Bay Area connections this month, but I still have a few weeks yet to decide about booking a flight...

Julie, Bring plenty of your business cards, your best smile and know what you want to tell people about your business. What makes you different or unique? Who are your customers or can describe your ideal client? What are your specialties? These are all friendly business owners who want to know more people. It's fun, it's comfortable, it's good for business.

It was such a great networking event and refreshing for me to meet other fellow business owners/entrepreneurs. The speaker gave a lot of insightful points, mastermind session was a great discussion opportunity on problems that all of us could relate to, and the speed networking was very useful. One of the best networking events I have been to.
