The last event was very helpful. Kate did a good job providing information on how to conduct a free introductory session and I'm glad George showed up, so we could all meet him. Now that I've practiced the free introductory sessions...I'm eagerly awaiting my chance to practice the paid ones!
The Coaches Cooperative: How to Attract New Clients Using Introductory Sessions (and get paid for it!)

Event description
Last month we talked about Introductory Sessions and Complimentary Consultations, and this month we'll take it a step further with our special guest speaker, George Huang.
George is a wildly successful business coach who generated a six-figure (annualized) income in his own business in only 73 days! I've talked George into sharing with us his formula for building a business using Introductory "Discovery" Sessions for a fee (as opposed to free).
Many service professionals offer free introductory sessions or complimentary consultations to try to build their businesses. This is not a new strategy, and it can produce results. But the problem is this: you can attract a lot of "tire-kickers" -- people who do a session with you because it's free, with no interest in going any further.
Unless you have a way to weed out the tire-kickers, you could burn up a lot of time and energy and have no new clients to show for it in the end.
George will share with us his approach for having potential clients pay for their initial session, plus how he turns a high percentage of them into playing clients. You'll learn how to attract better quality prospects and increase your conversion rate!
George says the key is understanding how to provide tremendous value during your initial session with them... value that the client can see is well-worth paying for.
If you are looking to grow your clientele in your service business, you can't afford to miss this month's session! By the time you leave, you'll have access to specific strategies and tools that you can apply to attract and convert more and better clients (while getting paid for it!)
The Puget Sound Coaches' Cooperative meets the third Monday of every month on the Eastside to network, support, and educate. It is open to all kinds of service professionals who "coach" their clients to success, from coaches, consultants and therapists to financial advisors, nutritionists, lawyers, fitness trainers, organizers, etc.

Thanks Chris! I'm looking forward to George's presentation and learning more, too.
I do paid introductory sessions (as well as shorter "complimentary consulations" by phone when someone has found me through my webiste and not met me), but I know I can learn more about how to attract more prospects and increase my conversion rate!

It seems we've hit a chord with this topic, Rebecca. I'm sure George and/or I will have another event about this same thing, perhaps even a longer workshop to get everyone role-playing the process...

Let me see if George wants to schedule a second one... I have received a couple private messages in addition to yours, Deanna and Kristine, and quite obviously we have more demand than room.
In the meantime, I recommend "following the event" (click link on left) b/c you'll be notified of comments (including "I have to cancel" comments), and/or checking back the day before and day of event, there are always cancellations.

Truly in response to popular demand, we've changed the venue to accommodate more participants for this training session.
We'll be at Music Works Northwest, Studio B, which is close to the location this event was originally scheduled for.
So, please note the location change.
AND, if you know of anyone else who wanted to participate, please let them know we now have more room.
My commitment to you is that... "By the time you leave, you'll have access to specific strategies and tools that you can apply to attract and convert more and better clients (while getting paid for it!)"

Wow. Sounds awesome! I would really like to meet George someday, as I've heard him on Christian Mickelsen's CD interview.
What a cool event. Awesome that you're a Biznik, George!
Anyone who can make it, I recommend it, and wish I could get up there to Seattle myself :-)

Thanks Chris! I know I had fun, and now I'm REALLY excited to experience the process in next week's Conscious Business Intensive!
And thanks for sending regrets, Lisa, Paul and Sue. Perhaps George will do this again.
There are also plans for a 3-month "intensive" training (a one-day event with phone/web follow up) that will be sent out to attendees (and anyone else who is interested, if you couldn't make it.)

I definitely walked away with more than I could have anticipated.
George - You are so full of ideas and intrigue; I could have listened to you for hours. Thanks for disclosing as you did; it added clarity to what is possible. I'll miss next week's 2-day event because of another committment, but will keep an eye on your upcoming offers.
Kate - Much appreciation for your musical interlude at the outset. Sweet, smooth tune. Your facilitation was right on the mark.
