Event description
Join us if you are a life coach, business coach, fitness coach, financial coach (etc.) and want to be part of a dynamic group of coaches networking and sharing their expertise!
This month's meeting, our topic is "Online Marketing and Client Attraction." Special guest and co-host Leif Hansen (Biznik, Spark NW) will talk about using social media platforms (including Biznik) to attract potential clients and prospects.
Co-host and Business/career coach Richard Baum (brick2net.com, confidentcareerchoices.com) will share how to use "Squeeze Pages," special reports, opt-in boxes, newsletters, etc. to help you attract more prospects and "build your list."
We will begin with introductions and brief sharing from all, followed by a presentation/discussion on our topic. At the end of the discussion there will be an opportunity to mastermind in small groups on how to take action in your own business.
A continuation of last month's Coaches' Corner, this series is open to coaches of any kind. We meet once a month on Mondays on the Eastside.

Are you visiting Seattle temporarily, or moving here? I look forward to meeting you.Kate

No I have never been to Seattle, WA but who knows where I may be led to practice. I recently joined Biznik and Memphis is kinda slow in practicing out of the box. My primary Masters Degree is in Vocational Rehabilitation, and was very interested in Life Coaching. After practicing 10+ years, decided to go back and get another Masters in Social Work. I have found myself doing life coaching....but in a small peer environment. That is why I jumped on being involved with this group.

Hi Sharon, I'll be happy to forward you anything that might be helpful. But you might look in the "Biztalk" section for dicussion forums (or feel free to start one yourself!)
I asked if you were visiting Seattle because you RSVP'd for an event here Monday! The group meets monthly and at the present time, our discussion pretty much happens at our monthly live events. If we start an online coaches group, I'll be sure to invite you to participate!
Check out the Article section as well as Biztalk. A lot of coaches have published some good articles.

I look forward to meeting and learning with you all tomorrow. My style is very informal and interactive, so come with any questions related to social media you might have. Warmly, Leif

Fellow CCers,
Thank you again to Kate, Leif, and Richard for an awesome event. The follow-up notes from Leif were an excellent recap. I just subscribed to LiveVideo.com, so that's a start. I'm curious about Twittering, and will be poking around that community as well.
Isn't it amazing what happens when a group of people join to share what they know? I've already marked the spot on my calendar for the December meeting.
With zing! ~ Patricia

Thanks Patricia! And a huge thanks to our special guest Leif for a wonderful, illuminative discussion, and also to co-leader Richard for valuable contributions.
We'll probably continue the discussion along similar lines next month, with more of a concentration on blogging, micro-blogging (twitter) and newsletters.
Our next meeting will be on December 15th, as we have moved to the third Monday of the month.
I'll send a brief re-cap to participants (and all on "the list") by tomorrow.
Thanks to all for a wonderful, vital meeting. And send your good energy to Cara, if you would, she was too sick to join us yesterday but we should hope to see her at future meetings.
XO Kate

It was my pleasure Kate, thanks. And as a side-note, I've received some encouragement from Jennifer to offer a series of focused, skill-learning, social media workshops. So please feel free to ping me if you also want to see this happen (use the magic triangle next to my name) and if you have any particular suggestions, etc. Warmly, Leif

Very useful event. I learned a lot from Leif. I won't be at our next meeting in person but hope to use LiveVideo to join you from Thailand. Hopefully everyone will go to my website and sign up to get the Special Report (which contains a lot of what I was going to present) and get a feel for how autoresponders work.
Check with your web host and shopping cart provider to see if they have an autoresponder option.
Shalom, Richard
