Event description
What have you got going for you? What resources do you have for your business?
What's working in your life? Who are the people around you and what do they contribute?
This month's Curiosity Club will focus on getting curious about what you really have to be thankful for as an indie or business owner!
(And when you start getting curious about what's really there, and get curious in a group of like-minded curious bizniks, you can discover resources, opportunities, ideas and pathways you've never imagined.)
Talk to a neuroscientist or someone really smart like Albert Einstein, and you’ll discover that curiosity is the key ingredient to understanding the world and creating new pathways to the future.
(Plus, it releases the same neurotransmitters as falling in love. So, you could think of this workshop as chance to combine a great business trip with a little romantic getaway.)
Most of the session will happen in small groups. We’ll have some short guided conversations that will get you going and frame your dialog so that you get the most out of it.
You and your group will spend your time getting curious about two things:
- The ways in which your thought processes and approached may be limiting what’s possible. And, other ways of thinking and acting that could produce profoundly better results.
- The resources you have that you notice, and the ones you haven't been paying attention to.
Through the whole session, you’ll be learning, growing and developing just by getting curious. It’s how your brain learns best, and boy does it feel good!
You already know how to figure things out, analyze, predict . . . you have a large toolkit that you’ve learned over the years and they serve you well. Now, expand your natural curiosity as a strategic tool in building a life and business that are meaningful, fulfilling, successful and fun.
For two decades, Barak Rosenbloom has helped people and organizations nationwide expand their natural curiosity and apply it to their world. As a coach, consultant, trainer, facilitator, ski bum and general all-purpose creative madman, when Barak brings his own intense natural curiosity and playfulness, the world becomes much brighter and more interesting, businesses thrive, and people find themselves profoundly happy and fulfilled.
Drue Larson is a counselor, trainer, and expert in leadership and management develop.
Mosaic Coffee is in Wallingford on the ground floor of the Seattle First Church. We will be meeting in their large meeting room, to the left as you enter. Mosaic serves drinks, soup and sandwiches with no fixed price. You get to say what it’s worth to you. Proceeds go to running the coffee house and to non-profits. Please support this wonderful space. I will also be accepting donations that I’ll give to Mosaic at the end of the session.
Your participation makes a difference for everyone in this event. Please come a few minutes early and, if you can't make please cancel your reservation as soon as you know.

Realized this event is following my event at the Mosaic, so thought what a great opportunity to meet everyone. And heck, the event title made me curious...

As a right-brain creative who sometimes can get so sidetracked by the why's and what-ifs, MAN, I so wanted to make this event.
Going to have to get a full report from Bob!
