Come to the Cafe Metropolitain on Wednesday, March 18th from 5-8pm for a Happy Hour mixer for Artists & Creatives! The hosts are members of the City of Mercer Island's Arts Council, and will be on hand to informally discuss how the upcoming First Annual Mercer Island ArtBoat Festival & Picnic presents you with an opportunity to raise your business profile while having some summer fun!

On Saturday, July 11, 2009, the City of Mercer Island's official Summer Celebration will include a new event: a "boats-as-sculpture" festival billed as "Mercer Island's answer to the Green Lake Milk Carton Derby - but without the milk cartons." We're working to have significant media coverage, so artists & creatives should plan to "make a splash" and leverage this event for their own promotional benefit.

Cafe Metropolitain has twice been voted Best Happy Hour, and drinks start from $1.00. from 4pm till 7pm.
