Event description

In this fun, informative, thought-provoking, and interactive workshop, come discover-

  • Why the topic of money is more crucial than ever to women of all ages

  • The advantages and disadvantages of being a woman in business (the women in my last class decided they wouldn't trade places!)

  • Why a good Business Plan and Work Ethic is not enough

  • How women think and learn differently about money (and why men tend to earn more not only as employees, but also as business owners and commissioned salespeople!)*

  • 10 characteristics/habits of Millionaire Business Women that anyone can adopt!

Plus - Experience an amazing process that will expose our secrets, fears, and lies about ourselves and demonstrate that we are not alone!

Come to embrace your strengths and gifts and receive encouragement and support from others! We'll have informal networking (and munching!) then introductions from 6 - 6:30, workshop will start promptly at 6:30.

(Biznik boys are welcome to attend, as long as you don't mind talking about women!)

Kate Phillips of Total Wealth Coaching has been self-employed for 14 years as a coach/trainer, musician, and former real-estate agent/investor and restaurant owner. This class is a "Biznik" version of Kate's popular Secrets of Wealthy Women. Kate helps women transform their relationship with money to experience financial and emotional wealth.

Support our hosts! The GreenBean Coffeehouse has great panini sandwiches, soup, salads, baked goods, and fair-trade coffee. Please note: Plan to come at 6:00 (or earlier) to order, because the GreenBean will be closing the kitchen as soon as our orders are in.

Oops, there was a "bug" - this event is NOT from 1-4am!

Kate, Would you consider doing a webinar, so that I could attend? I live in KS, but would like to learn more about this topic as well as "mingle" online with the group. Thanks Shelly

Hi Shelly, thanks for the interest. This particular event doesn't work as a webinar (parts of it would, parts not at all, as some activities are impossible without everyone being in the room.)

But I WILL consider doing a teleseminar/webinar soon, on a similar topic. and maybe a little shorter... nobody wants to attend a 3-hour webinar!

I must be the only male Biznik who is in touch with his feminine side, but I am looking forward to this.

We always have more fun with a guy in the room... glad you could accept my invitation to join us, Richard!

Hi Kate! I'm hoping that you'll offer this again, as I have another commitment Tues evening. It sounds wonderful. You do such a terrific job of facilitating, I'm sure it will be fun and great energy, too!

Looking forward to learning a lot on Tuesday evening.

Thanks Katherine, you're reminding me, I do want to find a time to do this at Mosaic, if possible.

Thanks Barb, I look forward to meeting you.

And Mark, I don't know how young/old your girls are, but my own teenage daughter would probably rather be doing anything but this class! That being said, there is a huge need for financial education at every age. Though this isn't strickly "financial education"... there's a big emotional exploration element as well, and it's definitely aimed for adults (and business owners).

I told a friend about this event before I realized it was full. Is it ok to invite someone else to come along?

Oh my! Come along. In retrospect, should have just scheduled two... this class works great with about 12, but we'll just have double fun!

  • Becca Campbell

I could back out and do it another time, if it's too big. Would you have it in another location?

  • Kate Phillips
Posted by Kate Phillips, Carnation, Seattle, Washington | Jun 02, 2009

Possibly Mosaic, need to check that schedule. Though I do the last part by candlelight and it's kind cool to do in evening. Just follow you gut, Becca, don't let your concerns stop you from coming tonight if that's what you want to do.

  • Becca Campbell
