I would like to invite all Biznik's to this Special Valentine's Day Party and casual and informational event. What is perfect after a romantic dinner than a stroll through a beautiful world-class gallery, admiring romantic paintings of the Riviera and Paris that just may inspire you on this romantic evening. View the romantic works of Picasso, Chagall and Felix Mas
Whether you are single, married, romantically involved, or looking to meet that someone special, this will be a fun, dynamic and engaging event to meet and greet a lot of fun Biznik Romantics..
We will have complimentary chocolate, beverages, coffee and champagne.
Martin Lawrence Galleries, with 12 locations nationwide, is considered America's Premier Gallery of Fine Art. For this event we will be displaying some of our most romantic and erotic paintings by Marc Chagall, Pablo Picasso, Salvador Dali, Robert Deyber, Fanny Brennan, Joan Miro, Mark Kostabi, Philippe Bertho, Liudmila Kondakova, Kerry Hallam, Eyvind Earle, Erte, Andy Warhol, Felix Mas, Rene LaLonde, and many more internationally acclaimed artists for you to enjoy and converse about as you mingle, mix, your way through the wonderful gallery collection of art - sharing romance and enjoying the casual and semi-private affair.
This event is complimentary. Limited space is available to ensure a comfortable crowd so RSVP today.
This will be the second party I am hosting and I expect it to be much more casual, a bit romantic and intimate than the last major bash.
Plus 36 more. [show all]
Sure, I'll be brave and be the first RSVP :)
Whether I meet my soul mate or not, what a great opportunity to see some fantastic artwork!
Glad to have you on board - see you Saturday. There will be some fun games, raffles, a lot of romantic and beautiful and some erotic Picasso art, and complimentary chocolate and champagne with cool people.
Steve, As I promised you, when you hatched this... I'm coming in Black Tie.
Where is everybody? This party could be really fun. I think that most people are shy about "mingling" -- I don't blame them. I say if you're shy and hate mingling, please come talk to me and we'll have an intense, or at least "thoughtful" conversation.
If you decide NOT to come, that's more chocolate and champagne for Michael, Steve, Marcie, Rags, Kelli and me!
On board!
Come over to SPACE on the Seattle side prior for a FREE workshop on creating and supporting love in your space!

Chagall AND chocolate? How can anyone miss this? I look forward to being there.

I agree with Susan. Chocolate, art and meeting new people. Sound like fun.

"What is art?" asked Andy Warhol, famously, several decades ago.
There has been a lot of confusion around that issue since he said that.
But, finally, we know the answer: "Art is chocolate."
Or, more correctly put, "Chocolate is art."
But only when it is finely crafted and shared with good company...
Reading Stuart Wilde's blog about the history of Romanticism makes this Valentine's Day more special than ever. Intellectual historians have seen Romanticism as a key movement out of reactive thinking. It emphasizes intuition, imagination and feeling.
Thank you for hosting Steve! I'm looking forward to art, new friends, and maybe a little chocolate...
I will bring my spiced chocolate hart butt and feed it to you with my own hand or? Many kisses to all of you
Sounds like a great group to meet - hope it's okay if I bring my Valentine!
What is the location
Can one bring their own non-biznik Valentine?
Sounds fun. I don't have a Valentine to go off and be romantic with, so why not spend a few hours with a group of cool people instead!
Biznik hubby and I will be there...
We are new empty-nesters and love having more chances at Romance! As we are both authors, we've made a bet with each other: first one to have their current book published will take the other out to lunch in Paris. This event ought to inspire us to get going on our creations! Merci!
(PS, long, long ago, I used to co-own a romantic Chagall litho with an ex-husband. When we divorced, he got the Chagall and I, my life back. It'll be great to be among the masters again!)
PS, PS...I DID keep the Miro' litho, though, and it's in my office. How fun to see fine people and fine art!
Lara and I have a romantic evening planned but will drop by at the beginning of this event to say hi.
Oh this sound so wonderful. however last year my husband and I got in big trouble from the wi ones because we went out without them on the most celebrated love day of the year...lordy. So we will pass this time, enjoy for us! Elke I am still wanting to connect so I will keep looking-Thank you for sharing.
I looked a couple of days ago and nobody had signed up. I figured I'd better not... didn't want to scare anyone away... and it appears my strategy worked! (Now, anyone who CANCELS after I RSVP'd will have some SERIOUS fessing up to do!)(giggle).
Looks like a great crowd! Looking forward to a social evening on the Eastside.
I'm joining the group simply for an excuse to meet the infamous Rags Madison.
And here I thought it was because I invited you. <sniff>. At least allow me to make the introduction <g>
Let me be the First: A Valentine's Day Sonnet
Let me be the first to wish you, in rhyme and verse, a day romantic and true.
Let me be the one to unveil, on this day, like the red dawning sun, a radiant bloom'd bouquet!
Though not of cheerful daffodil, nor lilacs (smelled, seen, not heard!) Not of sweetest rose, nor orchid's fragrant thrill: This flowery bunch is made of words!
For though these words new from fingers start, they've long been growing within my heart!
Happy Valentine's Day!

David, I accept the poetry challenge! This just emerged from my heart to my fingertips...I don't know where it came from, but it made me cry...
The Bouquet
The Valentine bouquet was accepted with a shy smile. Her teeth never showed, her lips were pursed Mona Lisa style.
He was the apple of her eye, The One she saw in her dreams.
She was all roses and baked goods, Chocolate chip cookies were his favorite.
He so young, an embattled warrior already, Desert fatigues just newly washed for the journey to her doorstep
She older, supposedly wiser, but still swept up in his bouquet and eventual embrace.
The soldier and the mother met on a doorstep that day.
A mutual admiration society.
PS I just posted this poem on Biztalk coffee break, in case any of you want to share, you have my persmission.
love to all!
I've walked by the gallery many times, glad for the chance to meet the proprietor. I hope I can bring a non-Biznik-r....

I'll be posting video on the site later this evening or early tomorrow.
Thank you Dan and Lara for joining us and appreciating the gathering of Bizniks, the fine art and the Valentine Event.

Thanks Steve and Chad for letting me accept the Kemper Freeman Bellevue Square Merchant's Award for year-over-year sales for February, 2009 on behalf of the Martin Lawrence Galleries. You both, as well as the entire staff, are too kind! It was a great day for Biznik this morning to be recognized as a part of your sales strategy in building traffic, energy and sales through the use of Biznik. Again, thanks... and I am humbled. ragsmadison
Wow!
(I think it was me selling Rags the Chagall that did it...see photos above!)
Congratulations Steve and Chad!
