Event description

By request, this workshop will explore the use of video on-line. You'll learn:

1) Tips to making a great video, including how to present yourself on camera, what to talk about, how to appear real and natural. NOTE: You'll actually get on-camera time to review "how you look."

(This part is a little more than just getting comfortable in front of the camera. In Part 1 we will not only videotape, but also discuss what people see, what you may not be aware of, and how to be more sensitive about yourself and the cues that people see. This is training from Theater adapted to video. Selected attendees will get a chance to role play and see the results immediately. The scenarios will actually come from you. And if you feel comfortable about the camera, see the note below)

2) Hints to editing and publishing different types of video:

-Software available

-Formats to consider

-Styles of video

3) Help in creating and posting video to serve various on-line and marketing purposes, including:

-How on-line video increases SEO

-Local Search video

-e-newsletter video

-Video landing/splash pages

-Posting video in blogs

-Posting video in social media groups

This event came at the request of dozens of people who, even though they may have their SHINE video -- or weren't able to make SHINE -- still want to know how best to use video on an on-going basis.

NOTE: If you already feel comfortable in front of the camera, sign up but don't show up until about 3:45 or so. That's when will switch from "camera work" to "what do I DO with my video!".

If you want to make a video for your business, I am available to do this for you at a very low rate (thinking in getting work and also acknowledging that the Shine Event did not get to everyone).

Hey David...I'd be a happy camper if you did this again...maybe on a day other than Thu? Looks really helpful to those of us who get the videovertigoheebiejeebiewillies! (that's a real thing, btw)

Paul: I didn't know that VVHBJVW was Thursday-centric, nor Thursday Specific. I think it can be only cured by massive amounts of Vitamin D (for Dave/David) intake. Dave Kuhns, on-line content writer, SEO and MarCom consultant

Thank you, both Davids, for making this happen. As a coach, I have a vision that I want to share via multiple methods. I learned how video and SEO can help me achieve this objective and have fun doing so! Warmly, Page Temple www.pagetemple.com (website up soon!) pptemple@earthlink.net

Wow, what fabulous information! A great chance to get comfortable in front of the camera and to learn how to edit and upload videos for maximum SEO and exposure.

The class gave me great tools and ideas for creating a fun and compelling video to promote my business etiquette consulting company.

You guys are great! A true dynamic duo!!

Thanks for putting on such a great event! In my business (group/team dynamics consulting and conflict management), the more confidence and trust people have in me, the better. Video would be a great way to add one more level of confidence and rapport, and this event helped me feel more excited about video. I also got some great do's and don'ts on how to maximize the benefit of the video.

    David & David,

I've even more convinced now about the power of video to send a message that sells. Thank you so much for sharing your expertise. I really like how well you involve your audience in learning and practicing. I just might visit again for a repeatperformance.
