Davids, I am looking forward to your class. Will you touch on the pros and cons of various types of camcorders?

Event description
By request, this Workshop will explore the use of video on-line. You'll learn:
1) Tips to making a great video, including how to present yourself on camera, what to talk about, how to appear real and natural.
(This part is a little more than just getting comfortable in front of the camera. In Part 1 we will not only videotape, but also discuss what people see, what you may not be aware of, and how to be more sensitive about yourself and the cues that people see. This is training from Theater adapted to video. Selected attendees will get a chance to role play and see the results immediately. The scenarios will actually come from you. And if you feel comfortable about the camera, see the note below)
2) Hints to editing and publishing different types of video:
- Software available
- Formats to consider
- Styles of video
3) Help in creating and posting video to serve various on-line and marketing purposes, including:
- How on-line video increases SEO
- Local Search video
- e-newsletter video
- Video landing/splash pages
- Posting video in blogs
- Posting video in social media groups
Many people have attended this Event. It gives you insight into not only how to make a great video, but how and where to post it for the best response.
NOTE: If you already feel comfortable in front of the camera, sign up but don't show up until about 11:15 or so. That's when will switch from "camera work" to "what do I DO with my video!".

Posted by Kathy Johnson, Seattle, Washington |Jun 02, 2010 Thank you to both Daves for this presentation.
To Dave Krafchick, for the informative overview on video equipment & software + role playing. To Dave Kuhns, for info on how to best use video for increasing search engine optimization.
It's easy to see how a video could really help in my work with color consulting clients.
Much appreciated,
Kathy Johnson, Paint Color Consultant www.colorswithconfidence.com

Jun 03, 2010 As a marketing consultant helping clients define their value and communicate it via word of mouth, this was an excellent "deep dive" into how video supports that dynamic (before and after!)

Jun 03, 2010 David and David, Thanks for sharing your expertise. During your workshop I picked up lots of tips I will use to promote my marketing and public relations consultancy.
My clients will benefit, too! I now can make an even more compelling case for integrating video into their communications programs. And, I have a few more techniques to use when doing media training.
When will you be offering the "advanced" workshop?!

Jun 03, 2010 David X 2................thanks so much for investing your time and knowledge about the importance of videos on the internet. I can now clearly see how I can use the information to gain more visibility with men who want custom choices for their shirts, suits, pants & coats. A short 2-min. video impacts more viewers than an article they may not have the time or inclination to read. I would highly recommend this Biznik event to all serious entrepreneurs.

Jun 16, 2010 David and David, Your event was one of the best I have attended so far. It's amazing how much information a person can gather from watching themselves in a video and the impact a video can make on my hypnotherapy page.
I look forward to working with you in the future!
