I love this park and have had in mind to do a walk and talk there. So I'm so glad you posted this event. My client that was on that block moved to the other side of the freeway and I miss my walks in this park. One lap is 1/2 mile and the water feature and sultpture art in this park is amazing. So is T-Latte's where I love the bubble tea and coffee drinks.

Event description
Walk & Talks are about moving our bodies, reconnecting with the outside world and with each other. It's about starting your day ~ and your week ~ with some walking to get the blood flowing with fresh ideas and fresh air.
Please have your devices turned off. The focus is on face-to-face connection and being aware of our surroundings ~ not taking calls or twittering.
In a nutshell, Downtown Park is the park just south of the downtown mall, Bellevue Square. The given address for the park is the tricked out memorial deck thing on the north end of it...we're meeting on the SOUTHEAST end, next to the parking lot.
There's two south end parking lots...we'll be next to one that's furthest east off 102nd Ave. NE near the long waterfall and reflecting pool, all located on the south end of Downtown Park in Bellevue. Parking is just north of the intersection of NE 1st St & 102nd Ave NE. We'll depart for our walk at 9:05, heading around the path on the park perimeter...so if you are late you should be able to scan the park and see us...just run and catch up!
Don't dress to impress ~ comfortable shoes and adequately warm clothes are what these Walk & Talks are all about.
Rain, sleet, snow or shine...dog friendly event.
General directions: ~ Going north or south on I-405, take the 4th St. exit when you get to downtown Bellevue. ~ Depending on which direction you came from, turn so you're heading toward downtown Bellevue (West, Seattle-way). ~ TURN LEFT at the Bellevue Way intersection (4 traffic lights I think?). ~ TURN RIGHT at NE 2nd St (1 light)...the road will bend and become NE 1st St. ~ TURN RIGHT at 102nd Ave. NE...you're there. Parking is free.
The event generally ends after about an hour, but I've left it open ended this time in case some of us want to grab coffee afterward.
If you're prone to getting lost, or not familiar with Bellevue, you might consider printing out a map...on recycled/reused paper, of course!

Thanks for this great idea and location, Paul. I go to Weight Watchers then have my own coaching call right after on Monday mornings so will miss this one. I'll watch for another on a different day.

Sounds good Page...I'd like to chat some more. It's a good location there in downtown Bellevue. Another good location nearby also is Kelsey Creek Park, with the barn and all.

This was a great and inexpensive to do some valuable networking with other entrepreneurs.
The lack of music, phones and other outside distractions gave us a chance to really talk and listen to the other person.
Thanks Paul and Brenda,
Lynda D.
