WBE Special Event: Choosing Leadership in Business and in Life with Dede Henley of the Henley Leadership Group

As a champion for the “feminine” in business, Dede Henley, Consultant and CEO of The Henley Leadership Group, is sure to inspire the room with her tales of wisdom and wins for women in the work world. Dede’s “life-changing” influence assures us that our natural way of working, using intuition and empathy, listening with compassion, focusing on collaboration instead of competition, is becoming the way of successful business. Dede Henley has been in the field of leadership development since 1982. She brings breadth and depth as a consultant, executive coach, and CEO. She is dedicated to supporting leaders in calling forth the highest and best from themselves, their leadership teams, and their employees. Her coaching enables clients to translate their vision into action, align personal and organizational values, increase employee loyalty and commitment, manage change, support emerging leaders, and create organizations that thrive. Her work has been described as “life-changing.”

Dede has authored numerous articles on coaching and leadership development. She has spoken on the subject at conferences internationally.

Her book, The Secret of Sovereignty: Women Choosing Leadership in Work & In Life, earned her the honor of being named one of 100 top thought leaders by Warren Bennis and Leadership Excellence for 2007 and 2008.

Dede holds a master’s degree in Organization Development from Pepperdine University, and she has served as an adjunct faculty member for the program. She is the mother of three and stepmom to three more.
