Event description

You are a small business and want to reach your customers with your website. Maybe you have a website already that has been ineffective or just not used at all. Now, by having access to your website content you can control your online marketing.

This will be similar to the first event with some added topics in regards to search engine optimization.

Clyde Ford is a published author and former IBM software engineer with more than 30 years of experience. He has been actively involved in the design and development of content managment solutions since Mambo, Joomla's precursor. Clyde has written his own Joomla extensions for a number of applications, including Google Earth. He'll talk about why website owners, even if they're not developers, should be using a content management system, and give another perspective of his own for the future of web 2.0.

This will be an exciting and highly interactive event with the main focus on web 2.0, content management, and online marketing with some search engine optimization techniques.

I look forward to gaining enough information to move my webpage, and a future social network webpage forward!

I am a total non-geek, but am willing to learn...will I be able to understand the language? :) Thanks for doing this!

    Good question Elke,

This event is geared toward the end user. There are no technical or special skills required other than a basic understanding of the internet.

Can't wait to see your Joomla Event again. I loved the information you delivered the 1st time that I saw it and know the power of this tool! Looking forward to telling others, too.

    Tony and Clyde --

This is AWESOME, and I regret not being able to attend. It will be clearly very helpful to have another real-life example of the power behind content management systems.

I know you two will Rock The House and give great value, as you did in Joomla Part I. Congratulations!

I will there. Let me know if you need any help with set up. Would you have time to look at our own current websites and show what can be done differently with Joomla?

What a knowledge-packed training. I learned alot and am looking forward to using Joomla myself. both Tony and Clyde did a good job at giving somewhat technical information in a simple to understand way. I completely enjoyed both teachers expertise. Thank you! Wenty
