Event description

If you hate networking at a bar or dressing up to meet your peers at professional meetings, why not join us -- your Biznik Allies in search of new ways of experiencing and sharing professional success.

Let's walk the Burke Gilman Trail for a few miles every Wednesday this summer from 8:30am - 9:30am.

Parking is free for two hours at a time very close to my apartment building (St. James Tower in Fremont). Be sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring your own water with which to wet your whistle.

If you want to know more about me, here's a little snapshot in a nutshell:

My name is Jennifer Manlowe and I'm an "out of the box" career counselor and book publishing coach. I love being an entrepreneur and have jumped into the game after my contract ended as a professor of psychology, gender studies, religion and philosophy (all within the philosophy department). I've lived on the East Coast since 1995 and yet grew up on Islands in Washington State. It is so great to be home (since 2005).

I've just moved to Fremont this spring and love being in Seattle -- much closer to groovy friends within this Biznik community! Looking forward to meeting you and learning what's up for you, what's working and what's blocking your progress (even if it's just in your own mind).

Be well and hope to see you soon,

Jennifer

The Danish philosopher Søren Kierkegaard said, "Above all, do not lose your desire to walk. Everyday I walk myself into a state of well-being.... I have walked myself into my best thoughts and I know of no thought so burdensome that one cannot walk through it."

P.S. If you want to see how I use walk-and-talks with my clients, checkout my Webpage!

p.p.s. Molly Gordon inspired this Goldilocks theme via her use of "just right" clients. See her website: http://mollygordon.com

I look forward to another Walk and Talk with Jenn Manlowe--who manages to be both professional and personable at the same time. I enjoy being inspired while getting my morning off to an active start!
