Better Sex Toys for Better Sex - that's 6 words. Actually, at eWomen and other face to face networking events I normally pitch my pleasure party business so I don't shock people too much. Networking meetings tend to be a bit conservative.

At the networking events I say "we do sassy yet educational in home pleasure parties" and that seems to shock fewer people.

:) What do ou all think?

That's good but how about a little more conservative to get their attention before they blush and run away... "Sharing The Joys of Toys for Big Girls and Boys"

    J Steinberg Design

Tagline: Fine residential interiors for homes of distinction.

Pitch: Classic Interior design for houses and estates of architectural distinction.

I realize the pitch is sort of tagliney. But, ultimatley, what I do and what my niche is takes a lot of words! Ideally- my projects are enire houses and/or estates. Ideally, I am working with great architecture and a particular house style (i.e. not a track house, but a structure with interest). My niche is to do do classic interiors, taking the architectural style of the house into cinsideration and echo history on an appropriate level for contemporary living (i.e. NOT period rooms- but rooms with a nod to history, and rooms where historic elements are correctly used). See- its a lot to convey!

I would love a critique on these! I seem to change them up often. Never seems quite right.

Pierre, this rocks! Here's my current pitch:

Positively Wed: Have your wedding your way without being a bridezilla or a doormat

    A hair over 10 words

As an opening line for conversation, Im thinking of saying:

I help brides have a drama free wedding.

I love my tagline even though it doesn't quite relate: Love=Fun

    Jessie, maybe we should talk?

    Ralph,

    "for the rest of us"

Who is this targeted to? Unless you're targeting a specific group as your clients that has an "otherly" feel to it, your tagline might come across like it's trying to exclude people.

    "lean, green + serene"

How so? Is there anything in your business that speaks loudly to this? If so, great. If not, you might rethink your word choice.
